Guild collective ideas

As del hasn't done so yet I have created a thread for the guild collective or as del called it the pirate conclave. Unlike the other thread this one is for segestiones for the guild collective please post any ideas here (this incledes you del) the name isn't determined so segestins are welcome for the name.

Well, way to spoil the surprise factor...

I honestly don't see why your so eager to rush this. A project like this requires time and preparation, even in the beginning stages. Like I said, the official thread is going to be posted at the end of the week.

I would suggest at just waiting for the thread to open, and then have any collective functions go on there. That way, we don't spam the boards with various threads. Of course, I guess, for thenext day or two, this will do.

Aye, this will take time. Its not like we can just throw a few things together, slap on a bow, and say "here ya go!" This is really something that will take a while. However Del, I do believe that after you post your official thread, us people joining it should be able to have a say in the way it is run (rules, etc.) Just to make it as democratic as possible.

First off this is a forum every one gets a say this is the purpose of this thread is so you are not the only one with a say this may be a constitutanal olagarchy but the constitonal olagarchy but the constitutional part is important people should be able to express there views and ideas

Countainer, I don't quite think you're getting what Del is saying. No need to make a bunch of threads about the same thing, when he said he would get the post up soon. Good, organized posts take time. Be patient.

Also, most people don't know what a "constitutional 'olagarchy'", as you called it, is. When the main thread is up, I'm sure Del won't set everything in stone. There will be wiggle room.

I never exactly questioned the purpose of this thread. However, I apologize if I came off like that.

There's no need to get complex in all of this. It's quite simple, actual. I never said nobody would get a say but myself, if you happened to read over my previous posts in the two threads besides this concerning the collective. Each guild WILL have a say, I assure that.

However, we can't vote on EVERYTHING just yet. Before we can get anywhere, we need to set up a basis - a name, some general "kickoff" rules and guidelines, and all that stuff. Once we actually get this off the ground, THEN we all can start talking about everything.

Also, countainer, I think you fail to realize that this collective isn't exactly a priority for me, nor should it be for any of us. We need to tend to other things first - our own guilds, our own lives. All I'm saying is, we need to stop, take a deep breath, and take our time with this. Rome wasn't built in a day.
