To the handful of pof members in EIR ( you know who you are):
Do you think we should make the guild open to everyone, and every level even if they're not on POF. We could have a much bigger guild that way, and maybe a better one. What do you guys think? ![]() I talked to Del ingame and we decides to let anyone trustworthy and friendly into the guild! Last edited by Sarah; 07-07-2010 at 04:24 AM.. Reason: double post |

Anyone should be able to join the guild. Guilds are a family and home to pirates.

That's is what i thought it would come to. The reason I had it start out as a " high level only" guild was that the last guild I was in, Pride of Pearl was just that. I loved being able to ask in guild chat " who wants to go to darkheart?" and have everybody be able to go instead of having to whisper to individuals. That was great, but after the first day of all pirates included (today) I had more fun than i ever did in PoP. It started put win a level seven askin for help, I healed him while he fought, then offered to give him free gold he selflessly declined and the girl in the crew wanted to join too. Then the level seven revealed that the pirate I was helping because it seemed he didn't know his way around the game yet, was actually a level 46's little pirate. We then shared many a laugh as we met mr. 46. I then called a guild meeting, only the girl pirate ( who I am considering promoting to co-GM) showed up. I explained the guidelines through guild chat so those that didn't show up could still hear (or read) what I had to say. The room was filled with so many questions and suggestions from one pirate that it was like having the whole guild there. She even came up with he girl version of the optional uniform and made sur eit was okay that she was too low of a level for one of the OPTIONAL preferred weapons. I'm surprised that she didn't want to switch to the preferred server right then and there. By far best officer ever. Not even a response from he people that were asked nicely to attend.
Thanks again, Del for the advice that will most definitely lead to my favorite guild! |
