Meet the Marceline Guild - June 22, 2010
Meet the Marceline Guild
http://piratesonline.go.com/#/news_b...rceline_guild1 June 22, 2010 ![]() The Marceline guild is made up of some of the saltiest and toughest Pirates the Caribbean has ever known. While many have met the Marceline Pirates, few know their stories. Brought together by strange twists of fate, these Pirates are each other's family through the best and harshest of times... Catherine Harcourt Catherine Harcourt is a local legend in the Caribbean because of her beauty and amazing ability to get out of tight fixes. She dressed as a man and fought like a tiger, only to have her true gender exposed. The Captain marooned her on a deserted island for her deception but the crafty lass returned to Port Royal even before he did! Read more about her life story here. Ruby Wynn Ruby Wynn began her life as a Pirate while running away from an arranged marriage to a much older man. While in hiding she learned to wield a sword and pistol as good as the best Pirates and fell into the company of some other cunning women in the Marceline guild. To learn more about her infamous story, click here. Ben Bowman Ben "the Showman" Bowman is a fresh face in the Caribbean and one of the newest members of the Marceline guild. He's still learning the ropes of becoming a first-rate sailor and Pirate, but Ben is a trained acrobat from a famous circus family. That means - he's most useful because Ben can climb the ship's rigging like a monkey! He's also the secret love of an alluring young lady also in the guild. Find out more here. Sir Charles Newgate Sir Charles Newgate is the fifth son of a wealthy aristocrat in England. Left out of the inheritance, he had to earn his way into the king's favor by becoming a brilliant military leader - and he did. The king knighted him and gave Sir Charles a plantation - that failed so he turned to piracy with the same gusto that distinguished him as a Navy hero. Read more about him here.
