I am currently looking for a guild. I am interested to hear from guilds who are on here.

My pirate is WalkthePlank. I accidently ran into this site when going to http://piratesonline.com and I am glad I did. I haven't been able to get on much.... but I am basic for now, level 6 and guildless.... Cheers.!

I would recommend instead of posting you need a guild, instead, to look around these here forums, for a guild that might seem to fit your interests. Posting here will just make you a target for a bunch of guilds.

I would follow Good Ol' Del's advice. Guilds here a plenty and they all are good, except those Mandos. All guild that have a post bring different things to the pirate world. Take your time and pick one that fits your gaming style.

along the lines of what Del and TSC said, you might want to think about what kind of guild you want to be in. How big a guild, what kind of rules you want or don't want, want a guild with a lot of activities or one where everyone does their own thing, do you prefer a certain age group or anything else that is important to you. Reading through the post for guilds here might give you other things to think about.

If you find interest in History, The Ottoman Empire or Barbary Pirates, the Korsairs will have a spot open for you, if not check the Guild Sub forms and start searching through threads for the Guild that fits you best.
