Weapons Update hits live

**Update came out before POTCO updated their news, figured this should have its own thread now**

I'm loading live right now, ten minute update so far...we shall see.

Seems it's live, but this will probably be short lived. Sarah is missing a few things...



Nades are gone, and TP quests back in my journal. Um, OOPS?

Seems I still have the grenades and the ability to TP, just have the quests to do them again. Me thinks live will be shutting down again for maintenance soon

Yeah, unfortunately some of the bugs Sarah mentioned were fixed on test, but they some how got to live.

Because didn't they say that the TP quests will no longer show up randomly with your other quests? Looks like that got to open. Hopefully not too many other bugs did...

Sarah, are all the weapons in your inventory past weapons, that managed to stay there? I wonder if that's a bug.

Personally, I know there are some bugs, but I'm glad this went live before friday. My free night tonight and now when I get home I might be able to go on POTCO and start buying all of the new expensive weapons.

The weapons that are in my inventory are the weapons I got from the weapons quests. I would assume that it's not a bug that they are still there. I quested to "upgrade them", it makes sence to me that the lower level weapons are still in my belt.

BTW, I went to see Jack, and the grenades quest just ended. I've gone to see Tia, and she's still having me do the TP quests, even though I can TP to all the islands...

That is correct Sarah. It is not a bug. When you first log on every one should have every version of sword, pistol, doll, etc. that they had at any point throughout the game.

I signed in and found out I only have the cloths, jewelery, and tattoos That I was wearing. Other than that all was good.

I am going to email customer support next.

...its overwhelming with all the choices..but in a good way....whats the item slot for on the weapons belt...can't put anything I have there..?

Maybe they are doing a Live tryout. Just to check if they have stuff ready enough.

The "item slot" is for a sailing item. (boosts mostly) You get those in random drops just like the weapons.

Thank you Sarah.....hope people send in the bugs and feedback ...was in boss fight and tried to use 't' for tonic and nada...you have to click the pic of tonic on bottom of screen....gypsies stores all showed recharge button lit...sose i kept paying...lol never greys out...yep I reported it...but if lots do something will get done quicker...

Awesome weapons,,but some of descriptions leave a lot out...if it says it helps other players...thats all it does usually,,with increased attack...but the price and catchy description will make you think you are buying a doom weapon...the undead staff 'pulsing with hostile energy' only has the 'dark aura' to help other friendlies...nothing hostile to it but it is the most expensive staff...so read descriptions carefully before ye lay down yer gold mates...testers already know all that of course....

my friend is basic and cant buy any muskets, sabres, broadswords, bayonetes, blunderbusses, daggers, grenades, or staffs.
