I'm going to be coming back to POTC in April after a one year hiatus. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on whats new/added to the game since I left last April? The last thing I recall being changed when I left out of boredom, was they were just about to change the layout of the Padres.

Any info on what I can look forward to would be greatly appreciated.

You can check old news for info on it, but I'll try and fill you in on what's happened in a nutshell. This weird guild came to Port Royal, Casa de Muertos, giving gold in exchange for digging up relics of the island. Turns out they're working for Jolly Roger. Jolly Roger started invading all the islands, starting with Port Royal, then Tortuga ending with Padres. Then he started making the rounds again, and right now has been invading Tortuga. There's new weapons coming out soon, El Patron's lost weapons, which Jolly was supposedly after. The "GM" of Casa de Muertos has a quest waiting at Padres for looking for the weapons. There's fleets the EITC has been sending out that's going to the mysterious island Raven's Cove for the weapons. That's pretty much the story.

Umm....Caves have been redone, you can now play POTCO from your browser, um....that's all I can really give you. Ask the more experience players for more.

Oh, and by the way, it's good to have a POTCO player back.

What about Levels? Whats the max PC and weapons level now? Did they add a few more quests for other new weapons, aside from the Muertos Guild stuff?

Max notoriety is 50, max weapons is 30. I wouldn't know about the weapons, I'm only basic access. You'd probably be better off checking the old news or weapons threads on that.

NO new weapons since Pirate Blade ( No quests past lvl twenty for ' special ' weapons) Invasions now occur which is a great rep gainer. Powder keg runners are new enemies only in INVASIONS so far. ( NOte : do NOT use close range or you will take a bad hit and have a most likely chance of tasting some dirt with your clothes ) Powder kegs are now much more sighted in invasions. As crest said before max notoriety is 50, weapons are 30. Also there's the new casa muertos quest on padres where captain rott is standing next to the shipwright guy on Padres ( NOT the guy in the big boat, the other shipwright ). that's all for now I believe fair winds!

Hi, and welcome bk....when sailing,,,you can replace cargo with royals to the limit of your vessel...so say you fill cargo with treasure chests and cargo and it shows 16/16 for instance,,,,you can keep sinkin" and hunting for royal gold chests which will replace your other cargo til you have 16/16 royals!! Very cool update. Just press the cargo button that shows 16/16 and it shows what you have...which you prob remember...some glitches you knew might not work anymore,,,but some do..and the muertos,fleet invasion, hidden weapons thing leads up to the new weapons and clothes/items drops coming soon as announced in game news/releases, which has us all excited .... .hope to see ya in game!

Well, I've made my return and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of new in-game material. Aside from the fact that I'm completely lost on most of the main islands since they've been remapped, I'm glad I came back when I did. It seems like they added a lot of new weapons & drop items. the new chest UI is pretty cool as well.
