Shamus O'Malley, the GM, is one happy Pirate! And he's happiest when it comes to all things Irish -- like St. Patrick's Day (March 17), shamrocks, and the color green, of course. No doubt you've seen his mischievous handiwork around the Caribbean -- the green seas? That was one of his pranks. But now he's up to something that makes him either daft or generous.

He's giving away gold! That's right. Just approach Shamus during his visits to the islands and ask for the gold. The only catch is ... you have to find him. Shamus hides like a leprechaun at times or he could be out, wandering about town in plain sight. But when you see Shamus, just ask politely, and he'll give you some of his gold. This is Shamus O'Malley's way of celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

How to use the Shamus code for gold:
1) Hit "Enter" to open the chat window.
2) Type /code in the chat window followed by the code Shamus gives you.
Example: /code 1234567891234567
3) Hit "Enter" again to redeem
4) If done correctly, you'll see a notice appear that the code has been redeemed successfully and your gold amount will increase.

I remember this from last year. He could be on any server and on any island. Finding a needle in a haystack is much more probable. I'll pass on this wild goose chase. I think I'll go snipe hunting instead. lol

Edit: I'll revise my cynicism a bit. It seems a little better at least this year in that they are having other GMs go online and give hints . And if you hit ideal servers (especially the A servers) you have a fair chance of finding him.

Since it is St. Patricks Day, The Irish Pirate GM is supposed to be around the caribbean today, handing out codes for gold! Has anyone seen him? Where is he? Please let me now!

sadly i cant find him now i looked on andaba too which island is he usually on?

Nah I didn't feel like trying to work through all the lag to ask for any. LOL. Good luck finding him again though, it was just by luck I ran across all those GM's on Andaba so I figured he HAD to be on that server somewhere. As far as which island he's on, I would assume PR, Tortuga and Padres but I wouldn't take my word for it.

Yes, I did find Shamus. Uh, sort of. I was server hopping on James and landed on Fraggue ocean, Port Royal main dock. I just happened to almost land right on top of Ruby Wynn and Sir Victor Mayhew. Much to my shock not a second after I whispered to a friend to tp, Ruby crewed James! She also crewed my friend, who arrived right after. Surprised me quite a bit, but I went along with it. Ruby took the crew of us, just 6 pirates besides herself and Victor, out to sea. We went out to uncharted waters, she said for a bit of fun. We danced a little bit...



She told us the story of her friend. Can't remember the name, but it's another of the GMs. Ruby told about her GM friend who was sold to the service of some Captain, who tried to marry her without asking. Quite the story, and no, I did not copy that whole mess of chat. (Takes way too long.) After that a ship started to circle us and Victor said something about Shamus may be watching. Well sure enough, must have been his ship, cause about a minute later Shamus tpd onto the ship we were on. We did a little dancing.





Had a wee bit of fun with the back story that my other alt Anna is James daughter.



Yes, Shamus gave all 6 of us a code. But he also gave us a St. Patrick's day story worthy of the famed title of Blarney, though every word is true.
