Feats of Strength - First Weekend Competitors January 22, 2010

Thanks to all the Pirates that signed up for the Feats of Strength Competition. The response has been overwhelming! THANK YOU! Many, many Pirates are set to compete. Thanks for your patience as we worked to complete the schedule!

The competition consists of several challenges. Pirates must complete all challenges as fast as they can, in order, following the course routes. All competitors must read the rules and event challenges BEFORE competing - if you have not done so already, please review the course and challenges! Pirates that finish the race without completing all challenges or do not follow the rules will be disqualified.

Please arrive at your assigned ocean (server) early! We have many competitors and schedules are very tight - sorry but late contestants or no-shows will not be able to participate.

Competitors were scheduled on a first-come basis. If you do not see your name posted, it's most likely because you are being scheduled for next week's event, January 30-31, 2010.

Times shown are Pacific, or Los Angeles time. If you are not on the West Coast, you can use a Time Zone Calculator to figure out the time you are competing. Good luck Pirates! We will see you this weekend!

Please Note: All Pirates are welcome to watch the event from the beach, docks, or town of Tortuga, but be respectful of your fellow Pirates competing in the Feats of Strength Contest. Please don't block the course route, use weapons during the competition or interfere with the Pirates competing. Thank you!

Results are in - and I was lost in the shuffle somewhere. I took 2nd in the event I was in. But, then again the guy who took first killed my gator anyway.

Not sure why I'm bothering with the sour grapes...

I'm glad to see a lot of pirates from POF got theirselves a placement! (including myself! ) Congrats to all who won, and to all who participated!
