A quest, and not a quest.

Today I recently hit level 33 and it said I had to go to Tia Dalma. I went to her and she just was talking about some carvings. Then when I exited, I saw there was nothing to do for the quest and I guess I was done. I don't get why I even went there in the first place. Is this a bug? Or is it the whole quest?
