Favorite Sword?
I've been meaning to make this thread for a while, generally asking which Sword do you prefer most. The sword does not have to be from POTCO, as the only sword available there is the Cutlass. So go ahead, pick your favorite sword.
Out of all of these, my favorite is the Sabre, Second Favorite, the Scimitar, and Third, the Hanger. #1 Sabre A common Mediterranean sword, used by the French, Spanish, and Ottoman empire's navy and military, and well as the Barbary Corsairs. The Sword is great for Slashing, and Cleaving. #2 Dao The Chinese adaptation of the Sabre, great for Slashing and Chopping (Flourish). This sword was used by Sao Feng in POTCO 3. #3 Cutlass A very common sword found on most all Naval/Pirate ships, mainly due to it's short length and strength. #4 Jian A shorter 2500 year old Chinese sword that is mainly used for thrusting. Used by Elizabeth Swan in POTC 3. #5 Broadsword A sword commonly used in North/Western Europe for Military and Naval use. This is also the sword that Barbossa uses. #6 Hanger Similar to the Cutlass, but a few inches longer, and a slightly stronger blade. This is the sword that was used by Captain Jack Sparrow. #7 Rapier ![]() Originating from Europe, it was commonly used for thrusting, it has a slightly thinner blade than the Broadsword. #8 Longsword ![]() A very long sword that was used by German, Swiss, Italian, and Spanish Militarys and warriors. I was commonly used for Thrusting. #9 Scimitar ![]() A sword originating from the Middle east, used bythe Ottoman Empire, Barbary Corsairs, Mongols and by warriors in the Khorasan area. It has similar uses to the Sabre. This sword was used by the Barbary Corsair crew member of the Black Pearl Leech. #10 Katana A Japneese sword, commonly used by the Samurai Warriors, and possibly by the Wokou Pirates.Last edited by toanuju22; 12-06-2009 at 10:02 PM.. |

Swords
I would love to have a variety of swords, even if they all did the same damage. Just nice to personalize.

None of these are in game. So... I pick Lightsabers in any modality.

The point of the other option is for voting for something like the Epee which I was to tired to add. This Poll isn't asking which you would prefer in game, just which sword you personally like best. |

I was under the impression that the Polls were meant to be for POTCO/POF stuff.
And a sword its a sword. A Lightsaber its a space sword. The other option is for all others picked at the discretion of the voter. |

But, I like also Chinese swords. If you watch Star Wars 2-3, Obi Wan uses several Chinese style moves, which is a nice change. |

It is possible for something to be made 2500 years ago, that would make it B.C.

Thats true Sven,Its 2010 A.D.
