Not sure what to really say. For the six months that the guild has been around, we've had a good time. A brief time, but a good time. We've had our few events, played together some, and been a tight-knit family, but the guild is just too inactive and small at this point for me to keep running. This isn't the only reason, there are many points to my decision.

First off, I've nay been the best leader I can be. Real life has kept me away from the game far more than any GM should be, and me having to miss the Halloween event was the last straw. I can't continue to hold a spot and plan such events when I cannot even make my way to the game to host them.

Secondly, we just can't get off the ground. To those who did join the guild, and stuck with us, I thank you. I appreciate that you felt there was potential in the guild to grow into a fun family and reach the belief that we could have a guild where every pirate received an equal opportunity to play the game, but it appears that it wasn't meant to be.

The sub-forum will remain here for just a bit longer so that all Pillagers on the site can know what's going on, but I'm having the sub-forum closed and I will disband the guild shortly after.

Thanks for the fun, thanks for the good times, and thanks for being Pillagers with me.

From what i've read, it sounds like a great guild. Plenty of events, lots going on, etc.

I figured when you didn't show yesterday something was wrong.

Yep, I was hoping the guild would sail off eventually but unfortunately it's just too hard to find people that aren't in a guild. And if they aren't, to try and find one that seems... how do I put this... nice enough?

The guild was fun while it lasted, and I hope real life isn't too stressful for you Jack.

EDIT: It looks like my HSP tag is gone. Like I said, it was fun while it lasted. I guess you had to make a guild last year or when POTCO first came out for it to get big. I think I'll look into joining another guild here on POF.
