Valuables, odds and ends, cheat cards
Has anyone figured out the purpose of these? I earned some poker cards by doing tasks for that guy in the bar in Port Royal, but they are crummy cards (no aces or faces) so I can't see how they will ever help me. And I see that I am collecting things in my valuables but so far can't trade them for anything valuable, or even see a purpose.

There was hint of an open market trade system within the game, but so far haven't seen much of it. Perhaps, they'll be adding more of this stuff once they get the basic quests and skills fleshed out more?

You can use the cheat cards during poker. However every time I used one I was called for cheating and lost 100 coins

It would be nice to be able to trade them. I had happened to glance down at my score the other day before I received a valuable. It appeared as though I immediately got the worth of the item at the time I received it. Of course, the old eyes are not what they used to be, so I could be wrong! I have acquired a few cards from skeletons too, however, like you say they are all pretty small cards. Cheat? Who me? A pirate!
