Wrong Trousers
Any Wrong Trousers online here?Anyone want to be in the Wrong Trousers? ![]() Leave a note here and we will get back in touch with you. Look for us in the game! Guild Website: Link removed due to being unapproved. PM the OP if you wish to have the link. Guild Charter of WRONG TROUSERS, est. 14 Dec. 2007 Membership Guidelines and Bylaws:A guild is a like-minded group of players coming together for the purpose of having a good time. For some, that good time is only achieved by mastery of the game and the domination of other players as well as the environment. Others are just looking for the modern equivalent of the corner bar. But the point is ultimately to enjoy yourself, and help the other members have as much fun as possible. As a member of this guild, we ask that you do the following. If you do not think you can hold to these guidelines, please do not accept the terms and go your way in peace. If, after joining you feel that other members are not following these guidelines, please contact the guild leader. 1. Don't be a jerk to the other players. (In fact, not being a jerk at anytime, anywhere, to anyone is always a good idea!) 2. When events are scheduled, please at least try to make an appearance. 3. DO NOT ASK TO BE AN OFFICER. Becoming an Officer is a privilege; it is not a right and certainly not something to ask for. True leaders are recognized on their own merits, and not given rank because they requested it, or used for self-promotion. 3a: Officers are only allowed to eject members whom that officer recruited. 4. Leave Real Life at the log-in window. Keep it out of the game. Let the Game have its own "drama" of entertainment without introducing real-life problems. 5. Do not teleport to another Guild member without asking first. Just as in Real Life, "dropping in" unannounced or unasked might be a problem! (For instance: One almost always teleports right in front of the person...they might be in the middle of a hand to hand battle, and you just helped make them miss that all important attack and got your guild mate killed! Not cool!) 6. On board ship: a. Do not take the wheel/helm of another person's ship without permission. (The only exception is if the ship's owner/captain unexpectedly logs off or "dies" and the ship is still sailing without him. In this case, land the ship immediately and do not endanger it in any way.) b. Do not give orders to the ship's captain/owner. "Suggestions" may be welcome, depending on the captain. c. Shooting at other pirate ships is useless, annoying, and just plain childish. (Unless it is in SVS mode, of course.) 7. Wrong Trousers is a very helpful guild, however, we encourage all members to try and complete quests and missions on their own, or by banding together with others of similar rank, rather than begging higher ranking characters for help. (But don't look a gift horse in the mouth when it is offered! Especially from the Guildmaster!) ASK politely for help, be very specific what you need help with, and be aware there may not always be someone available to help. And be sure to say, "Thank you". 8. We don't like to mention this one, but...If you become aware of... how shall we put this... an "infiltration" into our Guild, let an Officer know by whatever means you can. Sadly, there are those who think it is "fun" to disrupt and cause hostility (no matter that we are "pirates") and there are actually guilds whose existence is solely based on this childish vanity of destruction. Let your Guildmaster and Officers deal with such a person while you go on and have fun playing the game. 9. Technical: When and if you are presented with a "Bug Report", fill it in and send it! That's how the Developers know what to fix. You don't have to go into great detail, just tell them the basics of what you were doing when the problem occured -- sailing from Tortuga, fighting in Misty Mire, etc. You can also make all sorts of suggestions or complaints at the sign in screen by clicking on the Question Mark (?) there. 10. Lastly and always most importantly....Have Fun! (Or as we of WT say...Be a JOLLY Pirate!)

Think Dis will let us fly it over our ships? (Not!) As soon as I am sufficiently approved on here, I'll add it to my sig.

Welcome to our new member solely recruited through this Forum!
(Hey, it really works!) He first joined our webpage, was sent the ingame Guild invite code, and is now happily in the WRONG TROUSERS. And the world would be a better place, for you... and me... just wait, and seeeeeee...
