(note, this was a bug, so I am assuming that this is the spot to put this thread, if not, thanks in advance for putting it where it should be!)

Aye Mateys! The Locker be real enough, and I've been there. And took some screenshots!

Ok, so I was looking through my files to figure out how to post screenshots, and found a few that I thought I had lost forever! This was back in the days when you could still glitch off of any ship into open waters.

What happened was I had tried to swim over to a phantom when i got a little too close and popped aboard it. It was not a flagship. It was fun for awhile, untill the playership i had glitched off of decided to sink it.

So, the destroyed ship took me down with it, but i did not go to jail. Instead, I sunk to a place that had water above and sky below. Up was Down. Proof that a locker does exist, even if it is not an actual game feature! In these screenshots, you can clearly see the hulls of ships still afloat, as well as what happens to those ships that weren't so lucky.

I miss the ability to glitch off into open waters, this was perhaps my favorite fun glitch in the game! but thank goodness for F9!

Aye, its a bug, but figured screenshots be a better place for them.
This particular bug has been in the game as far as I know.. since release.

Screens of it are always a kick though.

I used to get a kick out of watching ships above me battle from underneath.

I had asked the GM Hosts if they had any plans to create a Davy Jone's Locker, and they said they had no plans on making it or putting it into the game.

that is such a shame. If they arent going to make a locker, they should re-instate the ability to glitch into open waters, and commandeer enemies. of course, there may still be a way to squeak past the barriers, i havent as of yet found a modern way to recreate the locker glitch.
by accident i did however end up swimming all the way from port royal to Padres! I did manage to get some shots of that adventure, but i have to dig them out. and when i did that, i found out that there is no way to board any ship from the water. I kept going through.

Why would you want a "locker"? I mean, the movies already hint at rumrunners island being the locker, but its like a superficial realm that is basically just a figure of speech, long story short, disney doesnt need to waist there time on it.

Ok, so I just refer to glitch land as the locker. tis the same difference.
I've more photographic proof of stange happenings in the carribean. These here be of a very long swim i took, from port royal to padres, and my attempts at commandeering an enemy ship to attempt the original locker glitch. unfortunately, there will be no more trips aboard a sinking enemy ship. at least not by the normal method, as you can see.

(WILL POST OTHER SCREEN SHOTS SOON)

I was wrong! The locker still exists, but not in such a pretty fashion as it once was. I had the misfortune of teleporting to a bloodscourge as she was about to sink, and it took me down with her. I can truely say, I'ew been there and back. Twice.

for some reason, my screenshots i took of this did not save...it figures. i'll keep looking. but this shows that the "Locker Glitch" can be revisited.

Aye, i've known of the locker for some time. It's quite nice. i remember a time. There was an invincible skeleton on a flagship. we couldn't leave. Suddenly, someone took over our ship and left, we were sunk by a later player. DOWN! DOWN WE GO. Actually, we picked up a few more crews. THEY had the glitched enemy too.

???

I do not remember one part from the movies hinting Rumrunner's island was Davy Jones' locker. Rumrunner's was merely the island Jack (and Elizabeth on one occasion) were stranded on by Barbossa and his crew. Other than that, the island is of no significance.
