Would you still be playing if potco was a single player game?

I have been known to buy and play single player games, however I generally do not buy them from the $10 bargain bin. This game would not qualify as a single player game, there is not enough game content. In big D's defense, its alot easier to develop a single player game, and it would have likely had more content, but as is, this wouldnt make a marketable single player game IMO.

well i do enjoy single player games like railroad tycoon and airport tycoon but i usually play one major mmorpg from 4 years ago to last year it was toontown and for that rest of the time its been pirates

I'd play it if it was intended as a single player game, although I wouldn't be playing it on the computer. If I play any single player games they're always on my PS2 or PS3.

At least on the PS3 games are updated faster. In the end, I probably would have bought it, got bored with it in eight hours, and quit.

Usually with me, I beat a game same day I bought it, come back to it a year later, try to beat it faster, then yea

Yes, I luv playing the game bc I have met alot of great pirates here that i can chat with. Guess that be the big perk for me

i have some really fun single player games but these days when somebody tells me i so need to play a certain game and its all fun and everything i see that it has no online multiplayer aspect and just brush it off.

Not a chance. I would have left long ago had it not been for the ability to communicate and play with other pirates.

I would have left a while ago. This would still be fun if it was temporarilly single player. ex- I would level on PSP or DS to update the game but, thats an old idea of mine. This game would get boring. However, I'm sure it would be a better game if they had planned to make it a 1 player. Then again, I might have never bought it if I only tried it because it was "free"

I would have gone back to the single player game that was my former addiction, Sid Meier's Pirates. While it always has the same story line, you could select the historical time period you wanted to play and whose on side you wanted to align yourself. The location of the enemies you were after, the secret hideouts, the location of buried treasure, the location of kidnapped relatives, all changed with each time you played the game. Lol... And also the geographical makeup of the whole Caribbean is portrayed accurately...from St Augustine to South America.

The reason I keep sticking with POTCO is strictly for the friendships...well...and optimist that I am...for improvement / expansion in the game.

Based on all the other single-player games I have been involved in, I would say that it's the interactive part of this that keeps me coming back.

Although I play mostly alone I am always chatting to my firends & my Guildies!! That keeps me going during long boring lvl work!! Sometimes I just find a quiet corner of the carribean & chat That is a big part of the game for me.
