NOTE: For those who hate to train grenades only! If you like to train them by yourself, do not join!

So why ye here?
Alright, if yer like me, you HATE grenades! For me, it is among the most mind-numbing weapon to train! On my fully mastered pirate, I got to about level 20 with grenades, then waited for Father's Day double rep to spike it to level 25. Well, I was reading a chart on how much rep using what weapon on what enemy gets you, and I think its ridiculous how you only get 4 reputation points for grenades at the maximum with only smoke bomb and fire bomb. So, my brain hatched an idea; grenades could be more productive, and less mind numbing if we get a crew! Not only is there a chance to get a 50% bonus in reputation towards grenades, but a chance to do it while not completely numbing your brain while training them!

When and where?
This will happen every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, starting at 2 PM PST (5 PM EST), with 15 minutes of lee-way for those who may be arriving a little late, then it will go on for as long as anyone wants it to (i.e.-it could last one hour if people stay, or it could last 4 hours; all up to you!). Our meeting place is in Adoria Delores's Tailor Shop on Padres Del Fuego in Galacaare Ocean.

Requirements and General Rules.
  1. To join, please post on this thread AND pm me! (My internet has trouble sometimes connecting to the POF servers, so I just use instant email notification to see my pms easier).
  2. At LEAST be Lv. 24 in Notoriety (Darkhart has powerful minions to protect him).
  3. Be at least Lv. 14 with grenades (this way you have the smoke bomb).
  4. For groups of 3-5, use only fire bombs.
  5. For groups of 6- 8, you can switch between the two types of bombs.
  6. For groups of 8-11, use only smoke bombs.
  7. If we have a group of 12 or more, we will either split into separate groups, and have group 2 go to another server to take on Darkhart, OR, we will keep the entire group together, and go after bigger bosses with double the health of Darkhart (i.e.- Neben the Silent in Beckett's quarry).
  8. With each group, there will be a group leader decided by me. The leader will be the one to keep control over the group, and also be the one to attack Darkhart the first. No one starts attacking until the leader gives the "OK!"
  9. Help yer mates out!- If you see a fellow mate go down to yellow health from Darkhart, help him out! Take out your Voodoo Doll and heal your fellow pirate! Note that on the path Darkhart is facing leads to a gypsy, so if you need tonics, go grab some!
  10. Be social and invite friends! Grenades are only as boring as you decide to make them!

Added Notes.
Glitches.
There are an array of glitches and bugs surrounding both Darkhart and the grenades. If you do decide you would like to try out a glitch or bug, or help out your fellow mates by doing so, check to make sure everyone is OK with it first. Some mates feel its cheating to use such glitches, while others will take any route to max grenades.

Why Darkhart/ Neben in particular?
One words mates- Convenience. Darkhart has the convenience of having a gunsmith shop right next to him, as well as a gypsy just down the path. So, you get the bonus of being able to get tonics and restock grenades quickly! As for Neben, the NPCS (the miners around Beckett's Quary), can heal you if you get down low! It does cost 5 gold to get healed though, and you can still be killed in battle if you don't click OK fast enough!

So, I don't know where any of these bosses are-- what should I do?
It is the group leader's job to make sure you get to the boss safely and soundly to train. If you don't know where either of these bosses are, stay at the Tailor Shop, and the leader will tell you when to teleport to them to start training!

Who are the leaders?
For now (since this is just starting), the leader is me, and I shall randomly pick each leader if group-splitting be needed. My pirates are Aurora, Stephen O'Malley, and Aurum Lust. If this becomes a regular thing with regularly appearing members, then I will had pick leaders I see are doing a good job.

Anything else?
YES!- We would love it if you could record the amount of reputation you earn. I will post the day reports on these training runs, which include the pirates that showed up, the amount of time that the run lasted, and how much reputation earned.

If you have any questions, or would like to join, once again, POST AND PM ME!

Our first run shall be Saturday, July 25, 2009. Of course the starting time again, 2 PM PST! Meet in Galacaare Ocean at Adoria Delores's Tailor Shop!
