There are many more and even I can't think of them all.
How about this one, Peter Pan Or, Pippi Longstocking in the south seas? (Early 70's) I know these are more kids flicks but they should count "Captain Ron" which also is supposed take place in the Caribbean has a reverence when Martin Short's character asks Ron if he has been to Disneyworld one too many times when Ron said the guns were for protection from the Pirates of the Caribbean. |

that one film about edward teach was pretty good, no famous actors or directors. it even looked like a tv movie for a cable channel. but the story was real good.

What about "The Pirate Movie" that was pretty cute I thought lol. Goonies is one of my all time favorite movies & is a Pirate movie in it's own right too!! Of course as a Pixie Pirate I too have to add Peter Pan also !
