It says i need 2 engraved pearls from L5+ navy soldiers on Port Royal. I have killed over 100 veterans and other navy people and it does not even say checking for pearls.... not found. And when i go to Port Royal the ray of light disappears and no navy soldiers are light up by the light. Thanks for the help

I should take better notes, I just did all the bb in the last week or so. I know I sent in a few bug reports in areas like this. If I recall correctly you need to go into wild woods or one of the caves to complete certain parts of the quest like this.

Maybe someone else here has it better written out or remembers.

P.S. I am pretty sure of it now, and be sure you are killing soldiers, not guards, or vets.

L5+ Soldiers = Navy guards.

Don't waste your time hunting sergeants or veterans. I'd try Royal Caverns, if you are still stuck. (Go through Governor's Garden or Wicked Thicket to get there...attack every guard you see on the way.)

Usually a guard in Fort Charles also, though you have to hope he keeps respawning.

Check the description in your Journal (J). It might say a certain place to check like in the jungle, or at a fort, or around Governor's Mansion. Hope this helps!
