POTCO 4.. what would your story plot be? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

As we all know the chances of Disney making a Pirates of the Caribbean 4 are not good. But I'm sure many of you have thought of what the 4th Movie would be like, so lets hear your ideas! You don't have to write a whole script maybe just an overview of how you would want the 4th movie to be about and/or a scene or character you'd like to have seen if a 4th movie was made. Be creative!

For me I always thought it would be interesting if Jack had a younger sister.. like 18 or so. We all know how he's getting slapped by women right? So I thought a funny scene would be something like this: Jack and will are on a dock.. maybe in tortuga, talking about oh.. lets say the fountain of youth (hinted in the 3rd movie) When all of a sudden a young girl calls out jack's name. Recognizing her voice he looks back. He grabs will and tries sneaking away but the girl catches up. She runs up to him hugs him telling him she missed him.. Now Will of course has only ever seen jack get slapped by woman so he says something witty like "Jack, I've never seen a woman actually glad to see you" (Of course the actual writers will come up with something much better lol) And later on we find out that Jack left his sister and mother to be a pirate like his father but not before he taught his sister a thing or two about being a pirate, his sister followed in his footsteps, mom dies later some how and ends up with her head shrunk and in the hands of Jack's father... So on and so on. Of course if this were actually part of the movie it would have better details and a stronger story line but you get the general idea

So now it's our turn, what is your POTCO 4 idea?

Wait.. i just read a post that said there might be a fourth movie? Is that true!?!?! I kept checking online to see if that was true but never found anything indicating they were considering it so I stopped checking.. That would be so cool if they are!

I think they are making a 4th one though.

Well, given the ending of the last movie....I personally would focus it on Barbossa and Jack Sparrow (which maybe the case). Of course you need all kinds of side plots and surprises tossed in there. Ultimately we are left to believe they are in search of the Fountain of Youth.

Yes, Depp and Rush signed for the 4th movie, but Bloom and Knightly supposedly said they were done with the series. So I don't know how I feel about the 4th movie. I mean, I'm sure it'll be good, but...

Anyway, on the actual purpose of the thread, I've never been too good about coming up with creative ideas... so... yeah. I guess I'd say it would involve the fountain of youth, but that's kind of obvious...

Personally, I believe they could adapt the game into a movie story line with Jolly Roger being the new villain . My plot would be:

Two years after the events of "At World's End," Calypso seeks revenge on all Pirates for the years of captivity in a human body. Her vengeful act is to release a new scourge upon the seas; the fabled Jolly Roger. Anybody who dare fly his symbol are to be doomed as the living are pursued by his skeletal fleet; and the dead join them.

I'd be VERY disappointed to see this fourth installment flop due to a weak plot and supporting cast. I really hope for the best.

It does appear there will be a 4th movie. There has been alot of conjecture about what it's storyline will be. Including some rather strange sounding scenarios having been given by producers of the series. (ie Jack sparrow, flying machines.. etc)

I dont see the necessity for Bloom and Knightly in the series any longer, as he is NOT Davy Jones, and their saga really has somewhat already been told. With Will doing the job, originally set forth for Jones by Calypso, and only returning to land every 10 years (with his 'job' he cannot return and help fight, etc... as Jones did or he too will become a freakish mutated monster as Jones did). Yes, the only real way I see to bring them back into the story would be to use Will and Elizabeths son, into the ongoing story.

they announced a 4th one already and it is scheduled for 2011 or 2012
not a big deal for them to make a new one
alledgedly it's going to certer around jack and barbossa looking for the fountain of youth
elizabeth wont be in it because keira knightley already said no
and will might be in it. that would make sense, cause he's out on the sea and elizabeth is just home being pregnant at the time the story would take place.
