In my personal opinion is that Jumping is a strategy, more than anything.

Jumpers jump to prevent themselves from being hit by the enemy, while they are still able to damage their enemies. Sure, it may look ridiculous, but it does work - and it certainly can't be considered "cowardly." I mean, would you call avoiding a sword slash to the face cowardly? Unless you're Robocop, you would more than likely say "No, it isn't."

The general view towards jumpers by pirates is that all they do is gloat, cause drama, and sit around on Abassa, which is completely stereotypical. Jumping is simply a way to fight in PvP, not a lifestyle. I'm a jumper, after all, but would you consider me the type to run around on Abassa with the PvP glitch? I think not

I'd also like to point out PvP requires no skill at all, period. Yes, you need coordination to know when to hit the right buttons, but thats it, really. I honestly don't consider anything that you might accomplish in a video game to require skill, but thats on a relative level. In the video game realm, however, what ever you can accomplish, you can accomplish with VIDEO GAME skill. It's still "skill," but it can't hold a candle to running a marathon, solving advanced math problems, or any of those real life challenges.

I suppose you use what you can to not get damage.. I have a friend who I refuse to PVP because he is impossible to hit, he jumps and runs around like a maniac...it's a little annoying. At the same time I can understand you do what you can to win.

Exactly Del I hate it when I get called a noob when I use a broadsword or a doll. If I have the weapons and there and advantage to me why shouldn't I use them.

My name is Chase on POTC. Im mastered. (Level 50) Im some times in abassa pwning some eitc wannabes. Or I can be found on quiet servers (never ideal servers unless with friends) training at tormenta or outcast looking for black clothes.

Am I the only person that completely HATES the fact that they slowed us down? Yeah its true that people used it to jump in PvP, but you know what, I never saw anybody ever complain about it. SECOND, now that we slow down, not only do we slow down in PvP, but in all-time game play. I can't run around with my voodoo doll anymore. I can't run away fast enough from the enemies that all came to me because their enemy aggression is very high. I am very upset with this added feature and will send feedback about this.

Well, that's probably because if we were to stop and complain in the middle of a PvP match, we'd get killed. Also, look through some of the older posts in this thread. There are a lot of people who despise jumping.

I meant as in trying to level up doll with more than 1 enemy on attunement

I've seen the undead walk into and through rocks and I have to wait for them to strike me to find where they actuslly are... Has anyone else had this happen to them?
