What ship is better to have war galleon or war frigate ?

Well War gally if you want to get money fast but it is not a noob ship if you stay broadside you will sink you have to know how to sail it. I have heard people say War gally is faster there crazy it says on game it the slowest ship. it dosent matter how many sails.

War frighte if you svs and just go like to have fun. front cannons better protection.

Someone should do speed tests again to see what the current status of ships speed are.

The last scientific/timed test performed I believe found all ships "equal" in speed with the exception of the "Light Sloop" being a hair faster. People forget about the influence some passives have on thier ships which may reflect differences in ship speed.

Yes I know what the descriptions say, but then again grape shot is for non-existent sea monsters, so I don't read to much into those descriptions.

I would start with the War Galleon for plundering (holds the most)...however it does not have the hull strength of the War Frigate nor does it have front cannons. The rear top cannons on the War Galleon can fire almost completely forward, it's just harder to see your target. Get a nice size crew and stay far away from enemy ships when blastin' em.

My purchases for my last 3 pirates have been War Galleon first, then War Frigate and last but far from least the War Sloop (great for speed and SVS and fun to sail).

It used to be, get the war galleon first to build up gold, get the war frigate to show off, then get the war sloop to round out the collection. Since SvS was added, it is now: get the war galleon first, get the war sloop next (and get slaughtered because you are too low level to SvS) then get the war frigate to round out the collection.

On my first pirate, I foolishly bought a war frigate first, thinking I'd get more because it cost more. When I finally got my war galleon, I fell in love. Nothing plunders as well as a war galleon. Has enough room for lots of friends and nobody has to fight over the (mostly-useless) forward cannons - everybody gets to shoot at the same targets at the same time. So everyone aboard has a good time.

At some point, I hope Disney adds weather (waves) to the high seas. The only thing that will stay afloat is a galleon (light, regular or war.)

Then Buy A War Gallon.
Get Loads Of Cash.
Then Buy A War Sloop!
Now you have every War Ship!!!!!!
