Welp, up to 310 skulls since finishing the quest without a famed/legendary cursed blade. I have found 8 relics in that time, so that is a ratio of about 1:39 famed:skulls.

96th skull, around 40 hours of gameplay and finally saw blue letters! First famed this month. right after I took the charm, gave darkhart a shot, he dropped another skull and I got a famed Hex guardian doll (forgot to take pic). My luck seems to be returning after 1 whole month of nothing..

Ok, now i am going to record like JT, but here are some places where I got them,
Southern Grave - 1 Sword of Decay (rare) - 1 hour - Lvl 38 Thralls + Urchanfists - 1 Grave Reaper (rare) - 20 minutes - Lvl 39 Spineskulls + Flotsams - 1 Bloodfire Sword (rare) - 1 hour - Lvl 40 In the past 2 weeks in POTCO, I have gotten about 40 maybe 50 skulls, none of them containing famed or legendary. Most of my skulls come from Darkhart, but the ones at Darkhart only contained commons, and a few times absolute junk (crude weapons). |

It all has to do with luck. the more enemy's you kill, the higher chance of getting one. so maybe running around and killing random people would help more then staying in one spot.

Well, since March (when the loot system came out) I've gotten 1 Famed. So 1 Famed and like 500 skulls......

for example: (all the enemies are random enemies from different places) first enemy: chance 1:1000 second enemy: 1:1000 third enemy: 1:1000 forth enemy: 1:1000 and so on, every enemy have 1:1000 drop chance. but staying in 1 place increases the chance: first kill: 1:1000 second kill: 2:1000 third kill: 3:1000 forth kill: 4:1000 the more times you kill the same enemy, his famd loot drop would be closer (due to the theory that loot drops rotate) If loot doesn't rotate, however, then all the enemies killed would be 1:1000 chance, and its all about luck, then any method works, because every enemy's chance becomes 1:1000, no matter for random kill or stay at same enemy. |

Loot doesn't rotate. I'm just saying it all has to do with luck, so the more enemy's you kill the higher chance of getting it. for example. if you are looking for some rum, you would have a higher chance of finding it if you searched every building, savvy?

lol, either way, you still need luck, whether loot rotates or not, if it does, you have to be at the right place at the right time, if it doesn't,I wonder if disney's computer accept bribes...lol
