BBK's First Pocket Pirate Caribbean Light Sloop Race...
I'd like to take the time out to thank everyone for coming out tonight for the Inaugural Pocket Pirate Caribbean Light Sloop Race...
This was but the first of 6 races...hopefully there wasn't too many kinks in the race...if there were any then by all means please let me know...I know that trying to get the next "code word" was a little difficult...especially when a few arrive at the judge at the same time...hopefully for the next event we'll have a few judges at every stop to make things a bit easier... Many thanks to Reaver for the help with being a judge...likewise to our very own Samuel Sworddogger for hanging out of the race to help judge as well... And now to the results... At this time I'd like to announce Li Wildtimbers as the very first winner of the Pocket Pirate Caribbean Light Sloop Race! WTG Li! Here is the breakdown...   Li Wildtimbers Bob the Hob RedfuryAs for the rest...well let's just say that so many gave their all in trying to get to the end...only to find their end was not what they had hoped for...hehe  BUt now that everyone knows the course and what's expected...I'm sure next month's race will be even better and more exciting with many more joining the race... I raise me cup to ye all on a fun and fine night indeed! Well done lads & lasses...  Just remember...FULL SAILS WIN THE RACE!

AHOY CAPTAIN, the race was a blast by all that partook in the event...Although we had 3 that died during the last leg of the race, it was a blast.......I'd be happy to judge the next race whenever you get it set up....Got caught up in the running that i forgot to get screenies of the judges but did manage to grab a few screenies......here ye be mateys

Sumone is missin in all the final pictures....Hmmm wonder who that is? I no Glitter! She be in the Big House killed by gypsies...lol It was a grand time for all thanks to the ingenuity of our Captain Nightwolf. And thanks to our judges. And thanks to the Krewe and non-Krewe that participated. And thanks to the gypsies who made me dead (GRIN). I know you bribed them Li so you could win (hehehe)

Glitter did search the entire island of Cuba for ya Sam for that winnin word...When I asked Tia where you happened to be stationed she replied "I've got nuttin for ya". Original ..Yes? Anyways, congratulations to Li, Bob the Hob, and Redfury for win, place and show!!! I'm so-o-o jealous (wink)

Congrats to everyone that raced and congrats to Li for winning! Little Eric Pocketskull was unable to make it to the race. I was busy pretty much all day, with me actin' and all. Plus Pocketskull is not a member of the guild yet. I'll be sure to make the next one. And then I'll dominate!

Hehehe...looking forward to Little Eric Pocketskull joining the Krewe's Pocket Pirate ranks...
But as for dominating...just ask the others if the race was easy or not...there are some rather dangerous sections to go through in this race for a little Pocket Pirate... As for the next race...who knows...I was intending on it to be a monthly thing...but if everyone is all wound up with racing fever...then it's possible it could become a bi-monthly event... Will have to see... |
