The "Glitch" still works, that is you can get there, but the mobs just run through any barriers and attack you... even if your standing in heaven while ya do it.. lol So it doesnt work that well for leveling anymore.

I have a thing that happens where i throw a grenade and it dissappears, doesnt go off, or where it just goes through the floor, if they dont explode how am i supposed to do anything with them?

Just cause that one doesn't work anymore doesn't mean thats the only one in there. There are others that are useful in there for grenade leveling.

Anndreeuhh is right there is more than 1 spot to lvl in the catacombs....and I assume she is talking about the one I showed her before lol. Thats where I mastered nades on both of my pirates.

Theres that one Sven and another. Its ridiculously hard to get in, but it works just as good.

Ridiculously hard to get in? lol thats one of the EASIEST glitches for me to do. The only thing I don't get is.....how come I only find this AFTER they fixed the old one?

ive been training nades by throwing them at the undead gypsy boss on the pdf back beach.sometimes i do half with nades and half with dagger or gun.then get almost 100 rep for each weapon i use.

This last character I made to go through all the new effects in the game, I have been surprised I am not really having to much a problem with grenades.

Grenadiers have probably been one of the easier critters than anything. When you get toughness put 5 points in it, and you can get to the point of 3 at a time with using smoke bombs.

Padres beach raider/gypsy by the armory will not go through the boat as well.

I have found Tortuga swamp a good camp spot now. Three grenadier can be pulled together, as well as altering to the boss for other skills.

Live server you can always throw another character in there for healing or just crew bonus.

I finished the character before this one in grenades with urchinfist, just a pain in trips for ammo. A lot of the time while working other things, if there is a chance also work grenades. Same ideals work as before just not a free target. If you can get three at a time with smoke bombs, that can be around 300 rep while taking a single grouping of ammo.

hey guys, just so you know, there is one spot in the fence they can not go through in kh. I was there today and finished mastering them. If you go to the section of fence where there is a break, count five posts over on the longer section, stand directly behind it and back up about four or five steps, they will not come through 80 percent of the time. I was able to run the 20 percent they did. If anyone needs me to show them this, just send me a pm. Hope this helps with the grenade question.

And before anyone disagrees, it does work, on that small section, you have to be right there in the certain spot, and they WILL come through if you move right or left even one step. So maybe it was fixed for the fence itself but not the posts? I dunno, but I was glad to get them out of the way so I can move my lvl 28 to 30 and get my staff. Happy hunting!

I found two methods that work well for me. First, if you go in the cave on PDF near Fort Dundee and walk near the left, across the lava lake there are usually 2 brigands or grenadiers (around level 15ish) and 2 soldiers (around level 10). I just bomb them and they float across the lava to me, which makes them easier to hit. I have also recently went to Cutthroat Island to work on a quest, and my grenades seemed to be leveling fairly well when I bombed some of the Spanish skeletons on the island.

Yeah I happen to go today to kings , and thought I would try it out. Near the front entrance I found a spot that the soldiers didn't come through at all, a easy several levels in staff done with a little more in grenade.

I just go into the middle of the field in Kingshead, forget that stupid fence ****. Maybe my aim is better than others, but I have no problems with the formation. Just lob a grenade from afar into the center formation, then just back up as you throw while they're coming at you, when they get close, you can throw one and as soon as it's out of your hand, strafe to the side, this way you won't get hit by your own grenade blast. After they're all dead just sit there and let your HP come back as you wait for the formation to reappear. I've done this since my grenades were at level 1 and now they're at around 12 (took no time at all). They've never killed me.
