Time Passes - But the game still does not.
Well after getting task locked on all my Pirates and getting nowhere, I decided defeating ships and combating on the islands endlessly for no new task reward, was not for me(considering they will probs reset all pirates, when its open). I decided to go do other things.
Nearly a month has passed and I come back and whats changed? Absolutely nothing it seems. There's been no new patches (I would of thought ther would have been one every other day, considering how close they claim to be to finishing it, compared to all the bug fixes still needed. Seems everybody's still task locked on most tasks, no ones seemed to found correct ship for dagger task, hence still no daggers. And game still seems to have same bugs its always had. After a nearly a month passing, makes me wonder if they'll ever have game finished... maybe they are having a rethink? If they don't do something soon, they might aswell scrap the whole project, as everybody will have gotten bored and moved on to something else. TBH im not even sure the Panda/Python programming language they insist on using is really up to the the task of running such a large game. (probs get my head ripped off for that comment) TT has never in 3 years of playing run what id call smoothly(especially in busy areas of game) and its half the game that pirates will be in complexity and Pirates will be faster action too. With some excellent tried and tested 3D engines out there, I would of thought they may of gone for one of those, I spose though, sticking to the current system saves them the cost of buying something thats probably more in damand, there for more pricey. What do i know anyways ![]() Well I know one thing, whatever they doing, they better do somthing soon.... The world is watching and waiting, but for how much longer? 'Keep it Kool '

My friend has a Dagger, so no, the Dagger quest isn't down. Maybe we're just not doing the quests right.
But yes, I do agree that PotCO needs to fix the lag and the glitches, but I'd like to see anyone else try to do what they have already done. It is remarkable, but could be much, much better.

I had pirate that had dagger long time back, my firend had pirate with dagger too, but doesnt play anymore. They both brought one before they stopped that and only allowed tyou to get one through Will's task. If your friend has completed Will task to get it, then i'm surprised no one else has posted here they have, they are a determined lot, and there's plenty of peeps still trying to complete it. On the remarkability of making a game like this, yes its no mean feat, i've dabbled in programming, so have a little comprehension into what is required to make a game of this complexity. However, these programmers do this for a living, and it should be expected they can bring somthing like this to life. Stepping aside from what i know and taking the completely ignorant view here. I'm just a online games player looking for the next fix, there are plenty of MMRPG's out there, WOW, Planetside, Flyff just to name a few, and they running just as complex games. Why should I care how hard it is to make one of these. I've been waiting a year plus now since they annouced the concept, and quite a while since they've been saying its nearly ready, why should i wait any longer? To make a comparison, back when this was first launched as concept, another manufacturer was planning pirate themed game. Theirs launched last month, as is up and running, however it's more serious strategy game, so for me presonally I still wait for this, as I know this is more fun orientated, instead of fact. Ok its probs not really fair to compare the time lines, they are two different games, with same basic theme. However as I said, with no visable improvement in nearly a month, we must begin to wonder whats going on over there. 'Keep it Kool ''Keep it Kool '
