Zep. i dont mean to be rude but there are people who do alot on the game... more than you think.. i saw before a girl who had a huge emotional break down because of the game. i cant say why for it is against rules on the forums. sorry but its true that people dont ignore others they just start a fight to get more people to come up and cheer them on/ popularity. you may have not seen this but i sure have!!! plenty of times!!!!

Aye, back when i had nothing to do i went to Abassa for a time killer and i saw plenty of things i didn't awnt to see. meltdowns, arguements, the dreaded " I NEED A BF" or " I"M SINGLE". Lots of things happen on Abassa, and not all are good things.

It is an unfortunate part of 'social gaming' - it brings with it the real life side of realitity issues - and not all of them good...
Of course, though I cannot understand everyones issue in playing the game - all I can recommend is: - Be sure to remove any of those people from your list first (if they are on your list) - Use the Map Feature to teleport to another server (since they are removed they cannot locate / follow you) - Play along for a bit by yourself, but if you need assistance a) come here and ask for it as many here are willing to help or b) if in game and someone comes along just ask if they can assist you for just a minute - if you say 'any assistance in helping me get 'x' would be great' it sounds more mature than 'help me! help me!' - most players stop and help someone then... I have seen the bad and wierd side... and if I really needed company I chose an ideal server higher in the list (E and above) where I find more mature players hang out. Best of luck

Kick their--no, now that's draconian! (Not that I know what draconian means..) Anyway, all that crud seems rather easy to avoid, so eh. It's not worth it to crack down on stuff like that when it can be avoided.

Spiritskull, you do what you feel you need to do. Feel free to take a break (even a permanent one if necessary) from the game if it's causing you anything but entertainment. Treat yourself as well as you can and do the things that are good for YOU.
The game and the forum will probably still be here if you ever want to come back. Ad if not, that's cool too. Nobody should feel miserable while playing a game, ESPECIALLY a Disney game! You take care of yourself, SS. We'll see you if we see you.

Well spoken words by many here...if you need a break then do so...if you have to step away then do it...
I've been gaming far longer then so many on here...and in such time I've seen many things...from high moments to low...from happiness to sadness...yet despite it all I've always found tight knit groups/clans/teams/call them what you will...these being beyond just a random group thrown together and calling themselves a team...they're more like a real family...people who love gaming, socializing, yet not having to deal with the drama that some think or feel is neccessary to gaming... There are many guilds and people just like these tight knit groups that I speak of on POTC...and any of them would be more then happy to help out a fellow Pirate who is tired of all the "kids" on Abassa who should be playing the SIMS since all they know is Dram-O-Rama... DO what you have to that makes you feel good again...and remember that there are many here who wish the same as you...to enjoy friendships and have fun playing a game that lets you live the life of a Pirate...and I'm sure they would welcome you as a kindred spirit same as their own... Fair winds to ye Spirit... |

OFxZeppers, nobody could of explained it better then you did. You're absolutely 100% right. Spiritskull we all respect your decision, but if anyone in the game treats you badly, just report or ignore him/her. Just remember that "Ignore" is the most powerful weapon that anyone has when something or somone bothers you. Good luck in your endeavors.
