Well, this is quite objective (or is it subjective?). No matter, as there are some reasons to digress:
Say you like the Doll as your weapon of choice. You seem to not be able to get any other weapon right. Well then, what do you do? Well, you max everything that may help you then! With the Cutlass, a point in Thrust does you nothing. 5 could, however, go in Parry, and 5 could, however, go in Endurance, and possibly prove useful as you use the Doll. As well, there are many reasons to disagree with other points, arguing mainly on function (the previous argument was an argument for a weapon with no respective fuction). For instance, people may use the Asp, Throw Dirt (which you forgot btw), and Vipers Nest for their Doll/Staff/Pistol disrupting abilities, and for them only. Others may use it as their weapon of choice; others as a weapon of choice for close combat. It's all varied. Personally, I will spend money when I have too much all on redistributing points for the sake of having fun via combat. I'll try all sorts of different builds. |

First I would argue why off so much on the blade instinct, barrage, and spirit mastery, when they basically do the same thing, just different skills. Still with no change in regular combat, 4 points in any of these or 5. Actually did more damage testing with the 4 point character in staff. Pvp may be a bit more difference in damage not sure on that yet. To the side I will put some things I have done. Several places you are lacking what you could have in damage. Spirit mastery for one, shoot another in pistol. Cannon is optional, fury, or explosive, if you prefer. |

Everyone has there different style means differrent areas are coverd, example: i have three points on all combo and blade storm, one brawl and taunt,no sweep, and max parry( i don't like getting hit).

Well, think about it: does Spirit Mastery increase the damage of voodoo attacks, like stated, or does it boost the base damage of voodoo attacks? It when maxed boosts (or at least should boost according to statement alone) the damage of any attack by 25%: so 5 points in it is like putting 2 extra points in a skill with 5 points in it. As well, they all boost more than one weapon: the dagger isn't to be used like the Cutlass, right?
