Internet explorer 8 beta released!

Ahoy all!
what most of us use is internet explorer 7, Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 8 Beta!
Beta means it is just like test, I wouldnt reccomend downloading it, cause it might have a bunch of gltiches and bugs with it, but if you wish to download it and check it out, click here

Hopefully this will be released safely soon
not very safe now, but Some mates might wanna give it a shot. Be my guest, post what its like here

Well, I'm not going to try it out until it's safe. When it is, I'll give it a shot.
TY for sharing this, Andrew.

I just installed it, its an option to run as beta, which means it doesnt have to be tested, you can use it normally. However, its not FULLY functional yet, theres still a few things that need to be updated on there, a few different things that I've noticed are:
-The tabs are a different color
-More add-ons
-Smartscreen filter
-More advanced accelarators
- If you look in the url, it highlights the main part of the url, for ex., this url is shown as:
http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8776
- you can personalize it more

Ill get back to this thread as soon as I find out more about this

Since me - like Zep - use IE for work (even at home in this case) I take a chance just using IE7 at home (and as for the others - can't touch them without a mess) where I have IE6 and 7 at work.

I'll wait until IE8 becomes much more stable before I even try that experiment (I just spent 50 hours since Friday doing major systems upgrades just to get the systems to work with IE7 decently...)

Like I said before, you can use IE8 normally, buts its not completely finished yet, lol. Some features you may have had with IE7 or 6 may be unavailable. Just like in test servers on here (I think, lol) you can help out Microsoft in trying to get it updated and fully functional.

I wont even be downloading IE7 until they have all their bugs fixed out.
My internet explore is old butsafer than 7 and 8.

I'm not taking any chances until they get the bugs worked out of 7.
I like 7 with the transparent backgrounds not showing up to make websites look better but it's not worth it yet.

I guess I'll just have to wait a couple of years.

Im using it right now, nothing seems to be wrong with it
Some of you may still want to wait untill it isnt Beta anymore, but I'll go ahead and give everyone the all clear to go ahead and Download it
Ive been to all types of different sites, it runs alot faster, and its alot more safe

I have 7 at home and one PC at work Andrew But in the working world software companies don't tend to rush to upgrade their code so fast so we keep IE6 around as well - and they only recently supported IE7... playing POTCO is fun, making money is funner

I like Internet Explorer 7, but it's not very safe in my opinion. So I use Mozilla Firefox.
It's much lighter and simpler.

I would use Internet Explorer 8 but it is still new.
