The only thing I don't like as much is wasting the point on Focus. At 8 vodoo points per skill point used, it doesn't seem like enough of a return. Once you get the staff, the points build up faster (and other weapons too).

I feel that point would be better used with another attune (up to 4) or heal/cure.
