How to use cannon??

I right click then go to the left or right but it only shoots out like a foot or two.

You can also point it up and down. Just move the mouse up and down on the screen.

What you are talking about are your broadside cannons, that are in the hull. These are captains cannons and you only have the choice of right or left. And they havent been very reliable yet, either shoot no where, or up in air.

If u want a controllable cannon, u have to postion yourself near oppenent, press esc to exit sailing, run to a cannon on deck and use that, then go back to sail mode, ect.

Only other wasy is to join a crew, or make one, then u can cannon only, or get others to do the cannoning for you.


If you cannon you get cannon skills, if u sail and let your crew cannon u get sailing skills points, u can get sailing skill points using the broadside cannons, but as u see they not very releiableat mo

I so far have only really solo sailed, so have level 9 cannons, but still level 1 sailing, but not bothered by that, not even sure the benifits of getting sailing up, i'm sure others can tell you tho.

oh wow thank ye a lot mateys!

I never knew you could use the escape key to exit out. That helps me a lot lol. My cannon is level 2 now and sailing level 2. Thank ye all,
