ok, they are putting a whole bunch of thing in the game, and from what i have read some good and some bad. new quests and whatnot, but by this point many players have reached their max levels in pretty much everything. here's a question that i haven't seen... are they raising the 40/25 max levels for these new quests? i mean are you getting to sing happy birthday but get no cake and ice cream? (thats how i like birthday cake, so what?( regular cake i can do without the ice cream)).

There is no current raise from the 40/25 level - though with the amount of bugs currently I don't think playing with those settings is an option at this point

i dont understand. so when we have a lvl 20 weapon we can do the quest? if so why did u mention lvl 5?

This was confusing to me too. I think it is the level of the weapon.

The weapons you can buy at the merchants are weapons 1-3.

The level 15 quested weapon counts as weapon 4.

The level 20 quested is weapon 5.

So when they say Level 5 weapons are being added, what they mean is the +5 weapons. that are really (character) level 20

Yes, at weapon level 15 you can do the upgrade quest for the level 4 weapons. At weapon level 20 you can do the upgrade quest for level 5 weapons.

Still see several bugs, and a few new ones popping up. Ammo shop on backside of Padres has the blackout problem. Music and such from pvp, doesn't leave when you exit the match. People are being left behind in bb's. New dagger skills like throw dirt work both on critters and pvp, but critters have that automatic attune right back on ya. Hex shot still not working to drain all power. At least one cutlass expoit in pvp fixed. Not sure on a few others, such as the undead bugs.

My guess is its the same problem we have on live, it doesnt work sometimes, Except on test, its worse. Theres already enough bugs and glitches on there.
But hey, im not sure, im not a tester

Im pretty sure it IS hard being a tester. But remember, D gave you the privellage to see things before they go live. So to help them out, you need to report those bugs. The faster you report the bugs, the faster it go lives

Question to tester:
Any guess on how much longer it'll take before this goes live? lol im sure a bunch of people are wondering the same thing

When this goes live is hard to say, and really we have no more information than you do on that.

Function of hex shot is to drain power to the voodoo users, such as Gypsy, Brinescumn, Molusk. You work your stats up, you can shoot these guys two - three times and they are out of power. You then can attack them by other means, or another critter that is attcking you without them able to attack you back.

Broke = means it not doing this and no matter how many times you shoot them with hex they will continue attacking you. Who knows, maybe this is a adjustment Disney has made and plans to keep it that way. If that is the case future grenade work is going to be quite the job, and hex shot a worthless item.

Any issues you see here I mention has been sent in by me already in testing, I can only hope other testers are sending in bugs as well. I only represent one computer type, and with so many out there and differant video cards, everyone needs to send in things they find.

If I had to 'guess' Andrew - I would say they will go for the 31st for POTCO's b-day...

Will the bugs be fixed by then, I donno.

If I had to guess, I think their first focus was to fix the Ship Grapple Invicibility Glitch, and that didn't go so well for them (yes it fixed the glitch, and brok all the NPC Ships from being able to sail - I don't think that was part of the plan).

Their second focus was to change the Dagger abilities, and they broke the Hex Shot in doing so (once again, I don't think that was part of the plan...).

In implementing these they broke the chat, which I'm sure wasnt planned at all and they had to turn around and still try to fix that...

The French and Spanish Undead NPC mess I'm sure wasn't planned either (maybe part of their boss implementation, these got messed up).

In their attempt to fix several bugs and implement the boss features (which the DEVs deserve credit for as it is time to step back, and put the game 'in order' before adding big new content) they caused themselves a few headaches which now must also be fixed... will they fully finish by Oct 31st? Hard to say...

Recoding all these fixes on top of fixes is gonna take some time - they just makde double work for themselves and they gotta do a lot of code shuffling before release.

Exactly, this is why we shouldn't add on so many things at once, only about a few, add small things. Things such as ship permissions, this weeks, work on Weapons a lot longer, add graphics and sky details next, keep working on weapons. Add the new dagger abilities, give the weapons one more week, add our new enemies the next week. Then, it is time to add the weapons, if the bugs are out of it. Don't want to remember what happened last time they added weapons quest, we crashed every time we got on a ship, bam, we're gone, bam, server's crashed, bam, should've worked the bugs out, bam, you get the point. You'd rather not be like the people on test, about every two or three hours I get booted. And Max is right, they put too much on themselves, like a bunch of well, fools. I'm not afraid to say it because it's foolish how they'll add so much at one time and it makes bugs that are impossible to find out what's causing them. Plus, weapons quests do not add higher levels this time around, sorry, maybe next time.
