It's not letting me get credit for the sailing. I think this is what the other person is having issues with as well. Without getting credit, advancing my pirate to get other weapons can't happen. I'm running a nVidia card too. |

If we launch our ship from the Spanish or French island we enter SvS mode and won't get reputation point, plunder, or credit for any quest.

- The Spanish Pitnta (whatever his name is) on outcast is a mess - he does jumping jacks when you atack him - then freezes and hits you *magically*...
Swash II Gets the credit on that one - nice find there dude

Gang, these new updates had better not come out anytime soon. Sorry. WAY too buggy. On top of everything mentioned here, now ships are doing a lovely ice capades number. Spawn, ice skate, spin, jump, skate on water again. Then there's the problem with them freezing after you hit them....this is going to take a while...

Yea the new 'frozen ships'... thats funky LOL... sail right by them and they are spinning like crazy wanting to come after you... but can't! LOL
I did send that in yesterday (along with a list of others...) its REALLY wacky on there at the moment... |

It also seems like everything is more aggressive (getting swarmed by alligators in Cuba, the navy in Kingshead, EITC in the caverns). It also seems like I'm doing significantly less damage with my daggers than on open. Granted, dagger is at l18 on test and 22 on open, but still. The rebalancing is leading me to get killed quite a bit more often than I've been accustomed to.

There were so many things I was going to answer now don't remember, lol. Dagger is doing a lot less damage because it was reduced quite a bit for front attacks, and not to easy to ever hit anything from behind.
Whoever it was asking about doing boss solo, less ammo, and drastically less damage I don't see it happening, without a glitch. My guy at max runs out of fury on first bridges. Takes a lot more hits to bring them down, leaving you getting hit a lot more. Definitely some bugs, first parts of quests, I jumped into padres caves and hit F6 to be immediately rejected from game, others now have been getting this some. Pistol had some problems today, wouldn't switch ammo. Spawning ships on top of you throw tracking off and you miss with broadsides. Obviously different video cards showing different problems. Whoever was asking about stars, yes I have seen dark night times and stars. Ya finally new DL/ release now lets see what got fixed, already heard doll quest is still out, but chat is working. Notoriety meter at 40 has always fluctuated like that, not really sure why, and usually down after not being on game for awhile. Doll quest has been broke from get go, but everything else worked fine when I went through those. Was one flaw, sink a french skellie, and it was a regular skellie ship that completed the quest. I like max, lacking some help in areas like svs, pvp to test very well. Barrier glitches being fixed, I know covered tons of side glitches. Chat is driving everyone nuts. Seeing lag in a crew again today on a ship, and barely able to move. Being in a crew minor lag issues, and slight lock-ups when someone talks. As well as a guild member entering game. Just got my grenades on my test character over the weekend. I went to throw grenades at the soldiers in the field at KH to start lvl up. I threw the first grenade and all of them started running towards me to the fence. i was getting excited when every one of them came through the fence and i was forced to run for my life. I thought man that is weird.
Finally got away from them and tried it again. Same results. This time there was a boss with them and I died. Sailed back thinking it was a fluke. Tried it again. Same result. It looks like you are not going to be able to use the fence to lvl grenades at KH with this update. I will go back and try again. If anyone else could also try this just to confirm what I seen, I would appreciate it. |
