Angry Log on problems. Anyone else?

For the last 3 weeks I haven't been able to log on. I get a message that POL has encountered a problem and has to close. I've sent several bug reports but don't get anything back except the generic bug response. How many other people have encountered this problem? Was working great up till 3 weeks ago.
I'm getting frustrated!!!!!

Many people are having this exact same problem and we have posted about it. There is not much we can do until they fix it.

So you could get on before 3 weeks ago? Scratch off RAM requirement.... hmm... it may be just be server errors for some accounts, some not. I'm really starting to hate Pirates Online beta.

I may have found the problem...Looking through my bug report yesterday after getting the bug again, I found this in the report:

BlendColor advertised as supported by OpenGL runtime, but could not get pointers to extension function.

That was mainly the only thing that stuck out at me that was causing some problems. There was other things, but I don't think they were it.

I just got off the phone with one of their tech support guys - they are well aware of the problem and are working to resolve it (although not as many engineer types work on the weekend) - The very nice tech guy talked me through several different things - none of which worked unfortunately - but said he was sending all me comments on to the engineer guys to work on - I made sure I mentioned all I have seem that people were having trouble with and even mentioned the possibility of them having a page where we could post stuff but then I got side-tracked and never got back to asking him about that. At any rate - they are paying attention, they are reading each and every bug report and they are working hard to resolve the issues so we just have to keep haning in there!

Sounds very promising, thank you! I bet it'll be fixed by Monday at the latest.

He didn't give me any promises and I didn't ask for any timelines but it was nice to know they really are reading the bug reports and are working to fix them!

Well, that lifts up my pirate spirit a bit. I'm glad you were able to talk to someone there. Hopefully they get it fixed by Monday, if not tonight.

I think it might be to do with the OpenGL drivers on ATI cards. But I don't know what cards everyone else is doing. It just seems to crash when it calls a certain something in OpenGL.

I could try and force DirectX but havn't got around to trying.

I can get into the login screen and actually login and see my charactor but after 1 second it crashes when i see the back of my char.
