Some info on these "Devs"

Well i was bored waiting for them (2 hours early) so i was curious about their builds and found them on DXD while there i found some interesting info.

All of them are lvl 37
All of them have all 8 skills mastered
Most of them havent applied skill points anywhere
Most have 65000 gold
Most dont even have a ship
All in a guild called Marceline
Guild STarted September 18th 2008
Capn Walter is the GM

This is what gets me:
Capn Walter, Xavier Hench, Ben Bowmen, and James Howe all register under the same account name....
Roberta Roberts, Buccaneer, and Swashbuckler are all the same account.
Ruby Wynn and Thatch Robers are the same account.

So 9 Pirates in the guild but only 3 Separate Accounts...

Dont believe me check for yourself go to DXD under directory search Xavier Hench then click his guild and thats the devs for ya.

What I dont believe is that these pirates have been "playing the game" as documentation seems to elude to (at least not on these pirates).

I would gather these are a special group of pirates that were "inserted" into the game specifically for events like this. Im sure thier stats are "manufactured".

Yea me to i doubt they leveled their weapons and such but a lvl 1 dev would look pretty sad.

I'd be a little scared, if they were not "manufactured." They are for staff members. The one person in charge of setting the accounts up for them, undoubtledly didn't want to link more and more and more accounts. Plus, they get to test the account linking when they do that. I just wish they had tested the parental controls a bit more. :-)

I'd want to require that my employees play the game as regular players one hour a week. ("Eat-your-own-dogfood" concept.) But I wouldn't want them to mess around at all with these "spokespirate" accounts.

True but what is there to test about linking accounts like you say these pirates are not test pirates they are spokespirates.
