Why can't we have..?

I was wondering why can't we have bigger sizes here on the forum
like an avatar 100 by 100 or
signature 500 by 250.
It would be good for a sig so we can have some room [;

We have free bc we were the first 5000 members on the site.

Dial - up is a slower internet.

Tepcats avatar is the biggest.
One of the two biggest I mean from what i've seen on the forums.
I even tried copying tepcats avatar because I wanted a big cat pirate but it resized it.
It must be a secret.

Its because before the minimum avatar size was 100x100 so a few members have not changed their avatar since then. However sometime in the past it was reduced to its current size.

Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Visible Post Elements

You can uncheck what you don't want to appear.

So it's easier to load for those with slow connections. We found that our present image restrictions makes it so the forums aren't so hard to load for anyone. Takes up less server space too. Doesn't do anyone any good if they can't view the forums.
