Want to meet in Pirates Online and go raid a fort? Here's where you can post.
Right now it's 5:05 ET, May 15 2007. If anyone wants to go raid or sail, I'll meet you at 5:20 ET in front of Darby Drydock in Port Royal. Post if yer comin'

There is bad lag in the game and the game suddenly went bonkers and closed on me... time pushed back to 5:25. Is anyone else getting bad lag?
The server crashed again - 5:35. Gosh, I hope it'll be better when the game opens! 5:45, lol. Once the game is open hopefully the server won't crash and we can just do one post and meet people. I think I fixed the lag on my computer - I set the color quality to medium (16 bit). It wasn't the game that was going slow, just the graphics, which caused the game to go slow and caused the server to crash. Lol 6:10 now. Server keeps going down on me.

Aye, the lag is unbearable. Almost impossible to do anything. I've been working on one of the first quests since 6 PM yesterday.

it is pretty sad.. by this late in testing they should have moved us over to the live hardware by now and into real servers.. but since we can still jump seas it looks like we are all on the test hardware its crazy. but we shall see

I agree, the whole lag and crashing issue should have been fixed in Alpha or Pre-Alpha, not in beta. How do they expect us to test the game if we can't even log in correctly?
