Test Server Chat Issue
For those of you on Test who are stuck with the child setting on chat:
This is the email the Test Engineers sent me reguarding this issue. Dear Pirates Online Guest, Thank you for contacting Pirates of the Caribbean Online regarding the in-game chat system. Chat settings for the Test Server, including Open Chat and SpeedChat Plus, are separate settings from those of the Live Server. Even though you currently have Open Chat enabled on the Live Server, this does not carry over to the Test Server. We apologize for this inconvenience and for your frustration, however there is currently no option to change Test Server chat settings. Our engineers may switch players' settings from time to time so that potential chat issues can be tested along with new feature releases, however these switches are completely random and do not occur very often. We hope this information is helpful, and hope to see you in the Caribbean again soon! Thank You, Colby Disney Online Customer Care Coordinator |

Anyone else with this issue?

In June 1623, Dixie Bull was trading for furs in Penobscott Bay, Maine, when a roving company of French pirates seized all of his provisions, leaving him destitute. Fired with revenge, he and his brothers Johnny, Fred and Dan traveled back to Boston, assembled a crew and entered upon a career of piracy. Famed as "The Dread Pirate", derived from his attack in 1632 on the settlement of Pemaquid, Dixie became the first pirate known to prey on shipping off the New England coast. |
