Screen 2 different colors

I have windows vista (don't know if thats the problem) but my screen has 2 different colors. you can actually see the line on the screen where the 2 tones seperate. anybody else having this problem, and is their a way to resolve it?

aiwass - that sounds like a monitor problem at first read - are the colors ok for other programs? What type of Vid Card do you have?

no i don't think its a monitor problem, ACTUALLY I may have described it wrong, its actually a SPLIT screen, not 2 different colors
