Pirate Lore Quest (Fine Cutlass)

I have been searching everywhere for the dig spot in the royal caverns for the pirate lore book. I have tried one spot close to jim wavemonger but i did not acquire it. Can anyone help me?

If you enter by the Navy Gaurd that is sleeping and go down the hill, cross the first bridge, there is a scorpion and a bat to the right. There is a dig spot right there.

There is a spot behind that guy across Jim Wavemonger his name is Edward something. Dig over and over again until u find it. Also another spot across the bridge.

There are four dig spots there (well, at least four.) Enter from Governor's Garden, behind the Governor's mansion where you meet Elizabeth Swan. Go in, turn right and go down hill to tree tunnel.

That entrance is where the guard is sleeping. Go down that slope, across that bridge. Immediately turn right and take five steps and you are standing on the first dig spot.

The little spit you and Jim Wavemonger are on has two bridges. Cross the other one to get on the tiny island in the middle. There are two guards on one side, a large piece of odd machinery on the other. Immediately to the right of that weird machine is the second dig spot.

Cross the other bridge from that island to get to the main mining area. Walk straight ahead until you are standing under a trestle. That is dig spot #3. You should be very near to "Matthew Hullbowers."

Walk South (or SSE) underneath that trestle past four posts. Turn East and walk through that water to go underneath a similar trestle. That is dig spot #4.

Remember to dig each spot more than once, after 30 or 40 seconds.
