Version Info Error?

Recently I just tried to open POTCO, and I'm greeted with this lovely message:



So, apparently there's an error when trying to fetch the patcher version info.
I'm not sure if there is a bad connection to the server of if it's just my computer.

Any ideas / help?

I have gotten that today also... just try again.. it finds the right one eventually.

I am also getting this and cannot log onto the game...

check the pirate online site and make sure u have the right username and password

It's nothing to do with logging in. When I open the program it says 'Retrieving Version info' then the message pops up. No log in box or anything.
Not sure why.

I just clicked OK and entered my password and stuff again. Worked for me

i have also gotten this msg pop up so i don't think it's personal anymore. i just clicked it a few times till it stopped then logged in the usual way.
