Maybe the lag would stop if they have a new engine and make the graphics
better and there wouldn't be so much lag. Use a better engine or something
to stop the lag. Other online games have no problem with playing and
doesn't have that much lag. Then they could do whatever they want with the
game. With good graphics, they could make a giant male storm happen out of no
where while fighting another crew in pvp and the kraken is in the middle of it all.
Or you can face the kraken if you go to the uncharted waters or if you try to
escape from tormenta. They also need a cannibal island. And then a cut scene
could come up every time you leave from cannibal island showing you being
chased by cannibals and boarding your ship. And they need to make a davy
jones locker. They should send you to jail if your on an island. But if you die
at sea, you got to davy jones locker and you have to saily back out just like
pirates 3. And they need to have under water exploration. That would be
awesome! I mean you could use voodoo magic to breath underwater and
explore and get diving skills. And fight sharks and other sea creatures.
Though they won't be able to do this unless they change the Graphics, the look,
and stop the lag(especialy stop all the lag).

I would love below decks, with rum cabinets, more cannons, hammocks for quick health. I think that would be cool.

This would be a great idea - I hope the developers do it.

A guild could buy a spot - like a tavern or house in a town (like Padres), or even a tent in the jungle or a cave off of one of the main caves. Only guild members could get in. Maybe they could decorate it, buy flags, or tables and chairs, even buy a card table or some enemies.

Inside it would act like a forum. Post letters on the wall that could be answered just like a forum. That would really help with guild retention and player retention in general. Right now people jump in and out of guilds and eventually leave the game entirely since they have very little reason to stay in contact with each other. I mean, look at a guild with level 14-20, and other members 30+. They don't adventure together much unless a higher level wants to help out some lower levels. IF people talked more to each other that would make it more compelling to stay in contact.

And reading over the thread I see this has been discussed in length

Anyways - this would go a long way towards player retention - even if it would be a lot of work for the moderators to keep track of.

And to be able to buy customization for ships. New sails (black sails, red sails, etc), oars/sweeps that make the ship go faster, broadsides that shoot fury or thunder. Nothing that doesn't already exist in the game or can be added with a minimum of coding/testing - but that would make ships much more individualized.

I think that they should have other ways to help you level up and get your health back. like for instance- food. you can go to that deli guy named 'Butcher Brown' in Tortuga and get food. lol! i know that seems silly.
But one of the main things (besides food and new emotes) i would LOVE it if the weather ACTUALLY changed in the game.
So it could be raining- and windy- and thunderstorms- and snow and whatever!
anyway- the emotes yea, what happened?
I remember them sayin that they added a bunch of new emotes but i dont recall being able to use them. Like if you type in '/drink' or '/eat' '9000' then it will say something but you won't actually be doing it.
Oh- and having a nice spot on the ship ( you know where the door is- and it ACTUALLY opens)
and they could have a sleeping area for the crew and a dinning area and a place for the captain.
Anyway, I know that's alot to ask from you guys but you did ask
So basicly that would be nice

how about when they release ship pvp u culd choose a place to battle ( maelstrom, normal ship battle etc.) your ship or a characters ship ( dutchman, pearl etc.) and stuff like that and i think that once u master sailing u should get to either get the pearl or the dutchman but there should be a limit of them in the ocean at one time like 50 at a time

With the coming of Privateering PVP, I've been thinking about additions and/or improvements that can tie into this.

Jails and Davy Jone's Locker: With the advent of PVP approaching, I think it is time to overhaul the current Jail system and add the ultimate Jail which is Davy Jone's Locker. For the lower levels (below 20), the current "kick down the door and stomp past the guard" system is fine. For those participating in privateering and those above 20, I think that getting out of jail should be an adventure all in itself.

For those not involved in privateering, the system should be the same (i.e. ship sinks you go to
the jail at your last port of call). For those that are out privateering, when your ship sinks, you go for a swim. Once in the water, I can envision a whole myriad of options and/or scenarios.

Rescue by friendly privateers: Your soggy pirate can be rescued by fellow French/Spanish privateers (bonuses in gold/notoriety) via the grappling hook function. Once rescued your pirate will be automatically teleported to friendly island or be recycled onto the rescuing ship (or option to teleport to other friendly ships if crew is full) if it has an infirmary module below decks (on of many add-ons to ships when customization comes online to the game).

Capture by unfriendly privateers: On the same note your water-logged pirate can be grappled by enemy French/Spanish pirates (Bonus dependant on level of notoriety against French/Spain. Perhaps a bounty system can be worked up.). Once captured your pirate will be teleported to the prison on Isla De La Avaricia or Ile D'Etable De Porc. Once there you can attempt to breakout (not easy since your weapons are disabled) or freed by a jailbreak raid from friendly privateers.

Davy Jone's and his Locker: When you hit the water a timer clock appears on your screen. After the clock finishes it's countdown, the Flying Dutchman will surface and start rounding up waterlogged sailors for teleportation to the Locker. The Dutchman can be driven off (for a time) by friendly ships (although they may fall victim to her triguns or have the Kraken called on them).

ok say you friends guild member locate .
say you add a locate like goto so you can find out where a person is before you teleport into that location so it is i can know without asking hey where are you.
I always repect and ask before i pop in i ask can i are may i join you .

also say you are a member of a crew not captain and a friend are guild member asks may i join you you say sure you try it says they are on ship. ok you say i cant join im not crew member ok try again you cant join and captain cant except you because you arent friend are in your guild opps sorry ill pull into port wait. ok im on port royal tp in

better yet after asking captain say can blah blah join us captain says sure welcome him aboard you click him it asks would you like to add blah blah to crew yes are no .
yes ok now try wham you tp in end of problem.

ok good point value of items it should be looked into a option for captain to be able to look at loot and deside do we keep this junk are drop these worthless items over board to make more room for better more expensive loot .
I hate going out with a ship have a storage of 11 slots sink till im full port just to find all this sinking only bring in say 100 gold value in items.
besides a ship should be able to carry a lot more loot than 16 slots you should be able to keep loading till it says we need to port captain we are about to sink because we are overloaded.

You have some good Ideas. The Davy Jones locker thing is a good Idea.
I was thinking you should try to get your ship off the sand and into the water
with the sand crabs then as soon as you go to water you have to rock the
boat left and right by pressing the button gestures on screen once you
finally get under water you end up getting tied to a cargo hold. Then you
have to untie yourself and swim to the wheel so you can steer the ship out of
there and then it shows a green flash and teleports you back to the big blue.
I also really want underwater exploration just like World of Warcraft does.
If they can stop the lag then they can do really awesome things to this game.

I think they should make the game feel more wordly like. Just like world of
warcraft. If they can stop the lag(please just stop the lag) and use a better
graphics engine. Then they could make the islands bigger and more detailed.
Make it so you can go to places on the island you haven't gone before.
They should make the game feel bigger because the islands are so close
to each other it only takes 30 seconds to get from port royal to tortuga.
Make the sea bigger. Make it like a world. So you can be a real pirate
who sails the seven seas and while your sailing at seas you can see sharks
or dolphins swimming along the coastline. Make it feel more realistic. And
make the ship feel bigger too. Even if you get the biggest friget out of the
bunch it still feels small and closed up together. Make more cannons. Make
stairs that lead to the bottom where the cargo is and the broadsides.
Make a plank for the ship for those on the ship you want to leave. And
make it so you can play games at the bottom of the ship like liars dice or
poker. And the captain should have his own room to navigate and figure
out where they are. Then when you fight the kraken it would feel more cooler.
But they can do all of this to the game if they just STOP THE LAG!!!

I think they should add tons of new enemies. So far, there are not enough.Maybe, since so many people kill British soldiers every day, they should add undead English.Kinda like they did with the Undead French and Spanish. They should also add Undead Dutch, too.Their ghost ships could be war galleons, like Dutch East Indiaman,Dutch Caravel,Dutch West Indiaman, etc. Then of course,I think they should raise the max notoriety levels higher, like to lv80 or 90.Then they should add enemies that are lv40+,so if you reach lv60+,you would still have enemies that don't have grey lv tags.I have tons of ideas that I sent to the POTCO developers, about 25 ideas so far! Those are my ideas, what about everybody else?

Oh so you mean like an Expansion? That would be pretty cool.
