Bugs - HP and Ammo Pouches
First off, I discovered that both Ali and Piper are missing 75 HP (I actually made a calculator (attempt 2) in Excel that does HP and Voodoo automatically when you enter the level [because I'm a dork like that]). I think it may be an issue with Endurance, but I'm not sure. Anyone else figure out they were low?
Also, with the pouches - Piper's can't hold as much as Ali's. I got all three pistol ones on both pirates...Ali holds 200, while Piper only holds 175... Boo.

Endurance i think is the problem. I got full endurance and at the end i lost halfy all the health i had gotten from endurance :[

I dont know about the HP situation. But I know that I have 3 pirates with all pistol pouch upgrades.
Each and every one of them is limited to 175. I believe when they first added the pouchs there was a bug, that "added" each pouch's additional storage to the total instead of changing it to the new total. Hence one of your pirates may have gotten an additional 25, when upgradeing from the first pouch, to the second pouch.. and its since been fixed in the game (i think). |

Not to mention, if you start with the large one, do you get the entire possible increase all at once? If that's the case, they should have a return option on the smaller ones because they're then a complete waste of money. When I first learned the pouches were stackable (when they were...), I sent a comment to Big D about how I wanted to be able to purchase the smaller ones too, so as to have the most ammo. That would have been nice. But in classic Big D fashion, they figured out a "fix" that didn't actually solve the problem. ![]() Anyway, I fail to see why I can't have as much ammo as I could use on any particular skill in their recommended playing timeframe. ETA: I got the okay to post the calculator (attempt 2)...I'm not sure about compatibility and all that, but it worked when I tried it. ![]() Also - the thing on the bottom, if it doesn't show up, is just instructions: only enter data in the yellow boxes; if a weapon/skill is not unlocked, leave it at 1; if Endurance or Focus is not unlocked/used, leave it at 0. Ok, it appears to work, but it doesnt calculate my level 40 pirate (from my sig) correctly. I know ive had all the hitpoints I had before, and then after the update not long ago, even they went up once just before I fully mastered the pirate.
In the game I have 2427 health and 519 voodoo I read in these forums after that last update where health was updated for everyone that leveled anything after the update, that this was the max health a pirate could have. Level 40, All weapons fully mastered Endurance has 5 points (increase health by 125) Focus has 2 points in it (increase voodoo by 16) So, per your chart, im missing 75 health also. Added: I've been checking for a flaw here, and I just cant find one, seems we lost 75 health somewhere? Anyone have 2502 health? |

What I have seen is some characters were bugged. Instance I can recall is one of our guys was getting negative 7 hp each time he leveled cutlass.
He even took screenshots of his lower health as he climbed up in cutlass. |

I just checked all of my pirates. I have 3 over level 30 (all missing points, one 30, one 60, the fully mastered pirate missing 75)
My level 12 pirate is right on the money (so far). Hmm if this was a known issue and fixed (im thinking its not) shouldnt they just do a recalc on pirates and get thier numbers right? BTW thanks for the spreadsheet Aliese, good work

Do any of those skill points add a percentage of health? If so when you apply it earlier in your pirate you would get less. I could have sworn one of the passive ones I added was apercentage not a number when added.

Oh, and you're welcome. ![]() Quote:
![]() Also, I did end up doing a live chat on the issue (because I never got the bug report to work), they told me they were aware of an issue with lost HP when leveling, but didn't go into any detail...it didn't sound like the same thing, though. |

What I think is happening that with some various level ups, the possibility of "Endurance" skill points is either not taken into account, or is miscalculated when the pirates new health is calculated (presumably to add the level up reward). At this point, my newest pirate, which will probably not be level 40.. well like forever.. lol.. is not going to put ANY points into endurance (until fully mastered). I know that when I put the points into endurance, it did indeed add the health it had indicated. I concur that we are losing some health occasionally during level ups (or not getting the increase we should) when our health is supposed to be increasing (I havent been paying that close of attention to the increases). The likely culprit is certain level ups miscalculating health due to using endurance. |

Update - the Endurance issue has been fixed! I just noticed that my fully mastered pirate now does have 5202 health points like she should.

Glad its fixed, and It was a good eye of yours to catch that in the first place! I've been avoiding using Endurance on my other pirates since you figured this out.
