Healing equals rep?
Does healing someone give you rep points? Just curious, I am still going to help someone who needs it anyway, I just never paid attention to if I got rep for it.

I did not pay attention either, just one of those people that likes to help. When I started helping a bunch, could attune three at once, I happened to look up and not at the health meter. It does give you a little rep.

Yep you get a small amount of rep. for healing someone =]
I think the amount of rep. is based on how much you heal them by, but 'm not 100% sure on that =] X

Absolutely correct.
When playing with 2 pirates at the same time, using one to heal the other, I will often allow my fighting pirate to take damage, just so the other can heal him. In doing so I have found that it appears to not be based on the number of times you heal, but in the number of HPs you heal overall. A pirate is down 100 health, each of the 2 times you heal them. Resulting in 200 HP pts healed, will reward MORE reps to the healer, than if a pirate is down 10 health, each of the 10 times they healed them. Healing a total of 100 HP pts. Even though the second example healed 10 times, instead of just 2. I have also seen that a factor that will also make a difference is the health of the pirate your healing when he defeats his enemy. It seems that if you have them fully healed when they defeat thier opponent, you get higher reps too. |
