carvers corner: quests, tips, and tavern gossip

Greetings mate, name's Carver. You can find me in the Faithful Bride on Tortuga. Bein' in my position, I hear a good many things 'bout these islands. Many a day Pirates come into the tavern looking for information - in addition to something to quench their thirst. This month be no different...

I hear Doc Grog's got a few of you seadogs doing his dirty work - sent you on Quests to slay a huge alligator, did he? But you can't find the old croc? Aye, have you searched the swamps of Tortuga? I hear a few more of those reptiles might be found on Padres Del Fuego and Cutthroat Island.

I also heard a crew of Pirates is looking for a diamond in the Queen's Nest. The "Queen's Nest" can be found on Isla Perdida and there be two treasure chests buried in this jungle, but I know the location you truly need to complete your Quest. Alas, there not be many landmarks in the jungle, to best describe the location, I'd say look aside the jungle's river and between two large rocks, there you'll find an open area surrounded by trees - the area is guarded by giant wasp nests (also check the nests). It be a challenge, but the diamond be well worth your effort.

I searched and searched for that particular spot for days. I must have walked by that a million times. That picture really helped me out.

Wow, that was here the entire time. Thankfully a guildee pointed the spot out to me or I would still be lookin'.

If you go into the cave, and stand in the center of it [between both doors on the compass] you are near the rocks you need to be next to. The river should be behind you, the waterfall to your left, the rocks in front of you as you enter the nesting sites in the trees... It's in the first nesting site, to the right near the base of a tree.. Watch out for the terror and dire wasps protecting the area!

I help so many find this and all the other dig sites! If only they'd get the stars to pop-up on the RIGHT islands for the quests you are doing, we'd all be much better off!!

Need help finding a dig site, ask me, I know where they are, unfortunately.. LOL.. [My 3rd avi soon will be digging up chests too..]

i pointed it out to my friend thanks to that article. he was looking for it while i lvled dagger and pistol on the beach when he said he could only find one non-working dig spot. then i went in and helped him. i lvled up alot that day.
