Diferent Types of Pirates!!!
Ok there are 7 different Factions of Pirates:
Buccaneer: Your average pirate, average in all skills, Basic Member Pirate. Musketteer: Excellent in Gun Skills and Grenades, Ok in Cannoneering and sword and dagger Bad at voodoo , Unique weapons only for that class: Musket (With Bayonet for Navy) and Shotgun. Sailer: Excellent in Sailing and Cannon skills, ok in pistol and cutlass, bad in voodoo: Once you reach a certain skill level you have the ability to give all your current ships, (And any you buy in the future) two aditional top side cannons, plus cool new cannon ammo that i can explain later, also has a ship nobody else can get that you can buy once you reach top level: Ship o' the Line, best cargo, armor, cannons (both topside and broadside) and speed, extremely expensive though. Swordsman: Excellent in Sword and dagger skills ok in Gunskills, ok in grenades, bad in voodoo., you can learn cool new moves, Unique Weapons are; Broadsword, Rapier, Curved Bladed Sword and Double Handed Sword. Gypsy: Excellent in Voodoo Doll and Staff skills, ok in sword and dagger, ok in grenade and guns, Has awesome new voodoo moves, and Super Powerful dolls and Staffs, Once you reach Top level you have the ability to Freeze Every Bad Person around you for thirty seconds (and when you get powerful enough it includes enemy ships but instead of thirty seconds its ten). Artisan: Yes i Said Artisan, a totally different set of skills, all weapon skills are like buccanners'. Artisan Skills and abilities; Smith, Gunsmith, Jeweler, Tailor, Barber, Bartender, and Cook. You can use the stuff you plunder (You also have a larger selection of plunder including materials for your profession) to make stuff you can sell and trade with other pirates. You can have your own shop on an Island or on the Mainland (Where you can also own a farm for your tavern and cooking place) You have a new ship type, the Merchant Ship which you use to transport goods to your stores, You can Make New Recipes as a cook, which you can give to your buddies as healing abilities, you can make tonics. You can Cater for peoples events, and other stuff we havent thought of yet. Shipwright: You Have the Ability to Make NEW SHIPS!!!!! aye agree some real cool thoughts and ideas ![]() I think i 'd join Ms AdimiralBeckett and profess in Swordism..lol Some sketches or pics be cool to see what these weapons ye speak of look like how about a Double edged sword crossed my mind lol I be thinkin sailor too since we being pirates live the life of adventure ...no loyalties to anyone or country vagabonding the seas searching for fame and gold. ![]() The artisan part sounds real cool also....a bit too much involvement there/chores for me as a semi-casual player but other players might dig it ![]() Great post! ![]() plunder on, Grace Squidkidd

really, no. sry capn', but no. it would not be that fair or add anything much. like, for instance, what if somene liked voodoo and grenades and gun? and what if a gypsy liked nade more than sword? i think that new weapons and skills and ammo should be unlocked by quests. sry, but, no.
EDIT: all artisans cant have their own shop!!!!! every island would be packed full! and what, would they only work on one server? what if someone forgot what server it was on? what if the server was full? huh? player houses? they would be on the ship! player islands? there would be 11,000 of them! the freeze thing for the gypsy? that would be annoying! i would report them and be so ticked off!!! sorry, but, NO. |

I would be a new one I guess.
Good in Voodoo, Sailing, Grenades & Cutlass. Bad in Dagger, Pistol, Cannon. X

i guess so, take out the shop idea and houses, and for the artisan, instead of having a shop, how about players go up to the artisan (or Shipwright) if they want something of theirs. That way artisans and shipwrights get paid off for all their hard work, and there isn't a crisis of having to many shops, but maybe on your ships you could put your ship i guess? I'll See if i can get some sketches for the weapons but be forwarned, im a really really bad Artist.
One other Idea, you have the Ability to be Custom Pirate, You can choose say three of all types of peoples unique weapons, how good you are in each skill, a certain amount of the new skills and moves, etc. |

This idea is still in the making so it does have some holes, but you would need to do a quest to get the weapons or ammo, once you reach a certain level.

ya but if u choose that then you would have to wait to get doll, nades, dagger and staff!!! that just would not work in the game. sorry, but, no no no!
EDIT: to be perfectley honest, if i had to choose, i would choose gypsy, since you made it ok in nades. but you should make it so that they unlock voodoo weapons earlier, such as staff, lvl 25. and so on. like musketeer can unlock nades and musket at lvl 15, swordsman dagger at lvl 5, and so on and so forth... |

I haven't even decided what the certain levels are yet! but yes, the type of pirate you choose does affect how long it takes to get the weapons.
P.S: Still working on those pictures, hopefully i can get them done in time |
