Hi everyone,
Take a look at this pics
I would to know why the regular Frigate Ship (like the mine) has no the same thing than the Frigate War Ship ???
I think its a mistake from the dev, i hope they'll fix this bug with the new update because how the sail can stay open ? =D

huh? i dont get your point if u are talkign about why they look the same its because of perspective your ship is closer theirs is farther making yours look like the larger also and upgrade from a frig to a war frig is no different except more crew, cargo space, cannons and hull stregth

I thinks it's just the perspective/angle. Although the ships are quite alike, the distance you are from the ship distorts it a bit.

I'll pm that in a language easier to understand

I do believe hes French so he's actually using pretty darn good english As tehy said, the ship is further, so it looks different.

Oh yes, he/she has a wonderful grasp of the English language . Nitnek has allowed me to hone my French skills, though. I just have to pm them, cause only English is allowed on the forum Totally understandable.

That aft sail is actually to assist turning. Your main sails are actually different, though that one is the same between the 2 ships. You will notice that the WF you engaged has 3 sails per mast, as opposed to the 2 that you have. You will always see that sail open. Hope that answers your question.

I dont understand what it is we are being asked to see/compare?

The regular frigate, and war frigate have similar sail configurations although the regular frigate does not have the front sail (it has just a mast) that the war frigate has. The war frigate is a larger version of the regular frigate with front sail, larger sails, more cannons, and heavier build to take more broadsides/damage.



I re-read several times, and think i've concluded that we are looking at the tail/steering sail, and the fact that on the regular frigate it shows as being up when sails are otherwise taken down. Is it taken down when the War Frigate is at rest?

May be a bug/unintentional, but the sail in question (assuming its that small aft sail) would supposedly be up/flown for maneuvering/turning, and not supplying forward/backward thrust/momentum, and thereby always being flown.

one thing, its called the mizzen mast. second thing, do you mean the colors? it only looks smaller because it is far away. or its just a glitch.

Does that looks similar to the war frigate sail? Its about in the right angle.


Does that look like a frigate from that angle? It looks like it to me.
