French/Spanish NPCs

My wife came up with this one.

The French and Spanish undead have the same rote sayings that the English ones do.

"There's that pirate again!" "Surrender!" etc

She said that they should speak French or Spanish instead of English.

So instead of "There's that pirate again!", the French would say "C'est un pirate!" Or instead of "Surrender!", they'd say "Nous remise!"

This is a good Idea. Why not forward it to Disney. Go their official Site and email them about it.

I think a point could be made however that french, spanish, and navy are not going to say the same phrases word for word in real life (even if translated to english).

LOL I was trying to Monitor posts and post about me getting my Crew Kit at the same time.. then I noticed 'hey - where's my post?' LOL So I've been looking for it... Found it!!

Guess now I gotta say someting smart about French and Spanish language? Its a cool idea - but I would never know what they were saying to me so I'd always be stopping asking 'What? WHAT?!?! What???' LOL

I think that would be a pretty good idea.
I know most of us don't know french/spanish, but it is not a nessesity to know a few words said by enemies, is it? I think you should most definatly suggest this to disney.

I emailed this to Disney before posting it here.

It doesn't really matter that you can't understand them, because they aren't really saying anything important anyway, and it would add a bit of flavor to the game.

And who knows. You punks might learn something.

It would make the game a little more realistic. I dont see why it would matter if you cant speak spanish or french.

I don't know any french but I do know Some spanish

it would be alot more realistic. at least make the npc leaders say "bonjour" or "hola" then speak english.
