Windows 2000?
Does pirates online beta work in windows 2000? I know it says XP but other places it says Windows 2000.

dought it being a long time gamer i never got any game to run on windows 2000 its worse then ME was and that was a nightmare

I've tried, and I think I meet all other requirements.
I get an error log message in the middle of the music, right before I think it would take me to the main page.

Yes, it does work on windows 2000 it was made almost at the same time as windows xp, it should work just as long your shock wave player is up to date.

Even if you can get it to work in Windows 2000 you should get XP. The game has minimum requirements for a reason.

The only reason Windows XP is a requirement is because Windows 2000 is out of support cycle with Microsoft. Why would the Disney techs want to waste their time solving issues with an out of lifecycle operating system?
In other words - if you can get this to run on Windows 95, more power to you, but you're on your own. |

wow windows 95.. that just brought back so many memories of senior year.. and my high school swapping over and having one of the programs working since nothing was compatible it was all DOS based back then lol...

Well, I got XP. Its not only for this reason though. XP is way more advanced in technological reasons.
