Server locations & latency?

Are all of the pirates servers physically located in California? If so, wouldn't that naturally increase latency for everyone in the 'states with respect to distance to the west coast?

I just wonder if there is even the slightest possibility that some of the oceans could be located in Florida? Perhaps Chicago?

Looking at my tracert's, the majority of my latency comes from the coast-coast transit time...... you know, physics IS physics.....

Having worked on the net for many years now, I would have to agree with your logic.
I do know there are people that seem to be playing from outside the country they must be dealing with a great deal more latency.

You may wish to send a suggestion to POTCO in this regard.
A little known means of sending them feedback is going into F7 for options, and clicking the ? in the bottom right corner.
