Boss Battle driving me nuts-- help!

I am lvl 32, and have tried the boss battle maybe 30 times. It is so frustrating. I warp around to the ideal servers and spend 30 minutes or so finding a crew with 1000+ people, lvl 30's and so forth, and we start, and it is usually the same outcome-- Maybe 3 or so people join me out of a crew of 20, and even then they usually stare at me while I'm hacking away at the 28 lvl sailors with my voodoo staff. I can't do it all by myself.

Are they sunbathing or something? For once, I'd like to find someone that will actually shoot at the drawbridges. Any tips? I've never made it to the Goliath. I wouldn't even know what it looks like. I don't even know why I bother trying to get a crew if I'm the only one playing.

I completely agree. I'd love to finish this quest but I always get stuck at the drawbridges solo. And getting a group that is worth anything is near impossible it seems. Please look me up if you do this again, name is Jal Elser in game.

I do really good in the Guards and Light Frigates. but the drawbridges are hard but if u keep playing it u can get alot of rep and level up instead of fighting enemy's who don't give u almost all a hundred rep. Yesterday i got 6,000 in a day and i was only on about 3 hours
so i think thats pretty good. I think u should master your cannons or get to lv.20 so u can kill the drawbridges quick. And trust me leveling your cannons is pretty easy three days ago i was level 5. now im level 10 so yea leveling is easy
